Pixar’s Inside Out is finally in theatres across the country TODAY! You won’t want to miss this movie. I’ve seen it with my daughters and it’s my new favorite Pixar movie. And I love Pixar movies, so that is saying something. I believe this is one of Pixar’s best movies ever. Here are my reasons why you need to see it this weekend.
Whole Family Fun
Everyone can see this movie. It’s perfect for all ages. Nothing too scary and humor for everyone from ages 3 to 90. Make a weekend family date and head to the theatre.
Excellent Messaging
As a parent of tweens, this movie couldn’t be more spot on. Having talked with Peter Docter and Jonas Rivera in the winter about the making of the movie and their inspiration, we know that a tween was the inspiration, but for real, the movie hits home on so many levels. And my tween loves it.
So Many Emotions
Not just in the movie, but for me and for my kids. Watching this movie, just like every other Pixar movie, made me teary, laugh, and everything in between.
Memory Islands
My kids were talking about the movie from ads they had been seeing for months. Now they really can’t stop talking about it. They picked their camp names based on movie characters. We’ve bought out the Disney store Inside Out collection. I’ve gone broke on Amazon. Pixar Inside Out will be with them for ever; I’m pretty sure me taking them and their love of this movie is one of their core memories.
