Ms. Marvel Easter Eggs
This is your spoiler warning if you haven’t seen episodes 1-6 of Ms. Marvel.
Ms. Marvel Easter Eggs Episode 1: Generation Why
Avengers: Endgame
Kamala Khan shows off her latest fan fiction, the last piece in a 10-part series about Captain Marvel, her favorite superhero. This fan fiction focuses on how the Avengers saved the world from Thanos in Avengers: Endgame.
Carol Danvers, The Cosmic Avenger
Kamala calls Carol the Cosmic Avenger.
In Captain Marvel #19, Carol assembles a team of Cosmic Avengers. At this moment in the MCU timeline, Carol is NOT on Earth, or if she is, no one is able to confirm where.
Kamala hopes to find out more about Carol at Avenger Con.

Avenger Con
Kamala wants to go to Avenger Con for several reasons, but her parents tell her no. Her mother comments how female superhero costumes are too tight.
Avenger Con is a reference to A-Day from the Avengers video game, which also features Kamala.
Her mother agrees to let her go to Avenger Con only if she agrees to go dressed like The Hulk. Her father is in a homemade Hulk costume that is a nod to the OG Lou Ferrigno Hulk.
Bruno is cosplaying as Bruce Banner when they do go to Avenger Con.
Scott Lang and Podcast Love
Kamala learned most of what she knows about her favorite Avenger, Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, from a podcast interview with Scott Lang: Big Me Little Me a Scott Lang Interview on This Powered Life.
Also, we need this podcast IRL. Stat.
Thor secretly a gamer?!
Kamala signs off by saying her next episode will feature why she believes Thor is secretly a gamer.
In Avengers: Endgame, Thor helped Korg out when he was being bullied online by Noobmaster69 in Fortnite.
Sloths!
Titles by Sloth Baby Productions include: The REAL Carol Danvers Story; Ant-Man and the Wasp’s romantic vacation in Paris; and Where did she get her POWERS? Bitten by a radioactive feminist? Each title is a callback to another Marvel property.
Why sloths? Kamala has a comic book tie-in to sloths.
Kamala is often seen with a winged sloth plushie in the comics. In the vision she has when she first gets her powers, Captain America, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man appear and Iron Man is holding a winged sloth.
Kamala’s Marvel-ous Bedroom
There is a poster of Brie Larson as Captain Marvel above her mirror, dozens of sketches of Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers in various outfits (including an iteration of her in the OG comic Ms. Marvel suit), and a Hulk Smash sticky note in her bedroom.
Avengers Tower
Avengers Tower can be seen in the distance on her way to school after the fated failed driver’s test. There appears to be a crane outside of it. We still don’t know who bought it.

Avengers Women Power T-shirt
Kamala is wearing an Avengers t-shirt that features Captain Marvel, Wasp, and Valkyrie each wearing glasses with the text “Women, let’s get information.”
Zoe
The student who bumps into Kamala on the stairs at school is Zoe Zimmer.
In the comics, Zoe was a bully then a friend of Kamala’s.
Mr. Gabe Wilson
Mr. Gabe Wilson is the high school principal. This is another nod to the writer of the original Kamala Khan comics: G. Willow Wilson.
Mulan
During the principal’s chat with Kamala, he quotes, “Who is that girl I see, staring straight back at me,” from the song “Reflection” from Mulan (1998).
Circle Q
Just like the comics, Circle Q will serve as Ms. Marvel’s base. After school, Kamala meets Bruno at the Circle Q, where he lives and works.
FREE QR CODE for a Ms. Marvel Comic
Just like “Moon Knight,” Marvel is giving you free comics with a QR code!
Ms. Marvel episode 1 has a QR code for a free Ms. Marvel Comic. It is located on the ATM machine behind Bruno’s head.
Star Wars
Marvel loves their Star Wars nods. As with both Eternals and in Captain America: Civil War, we’ve got a Star Wars reference in Ms. Marvel.
Bruno tells Kamala to stop acting like her mother is Darth Vader.
Marvel Characters Cosplay?
Kamala tries to decide how to make her Captain Marvel cosplay as unique as she is and Bruno helps her with a list of mash-ups:
- Black Cat Marvel (Black Panther nod)
- Doctor Strange Marvel
- Iron Marvel
- Zombie Captain Marvel
- Princess Marvel
- Steampunk Marvel
- Valkyrie riding a pegasus or a sloth (there’s that sloth reference)
Ms. Marvel #8 (2016) by Adrian Alphona (artist), Ian Herring (colorist), G. Willow Wilson (writer), Joe Caramagna (letterer). Marvel Comics.
The Bangle
There is a box from Kamala’s grandmother, Nani, waiting at home. Inside, the bangle/bracelet cuff that gives her her powers.
When Kamala first puts on the bangle, she seems to momentarily jump across a portal to—or has vision or memory of—what looked like aliens. Is it possible they Kree?
(L-R): Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan and Zenobia Shroff as Muneeba in Marvel Studios’ MS. MARVEL. Photo by Daniel McFadden. ©Marvel Studios 2022. All Rights Reserved.
In the comic, the bangle is simply an artifact that Kamala inherits; it doesn’t provide any powers and does nothing special.
Zuzu
Zuzu is the smart home system Bruno developed for the Khans. This is a nod to his tech smarts and how Kamala will sneak out later on.
Edison Electric
There is a sign for Edison Electric on the roof. In the comics, the Edison Electric Company is Jersey City-based business that was used by the Inventor to lure Kamala Khan into a fight with bionic alligators. She prevails with help from Wolverine.
(L-R): Zenobia Shroff as Muneeba; Matthew Lintz as Bruno, and Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan in Marvel Studios’ MS. MARVEL, exclusively on Disney+. Photo by Daniel McFadden. ©Marvel Studios 2022. All Rights Reserved.
House Escape Fantasy Montage
Kamala’s plan to escape her house for Avengers Con, she jumps out her window wearing what looks like Carol Danvers’ Captain Marvel suit and lands with the classic superhero landing (POSER!). Bruno’s cosplay is Tony Stark. There’s a photo showing people dressed like Ant-Man and Nick Fury.
They jump onto Bus #5510 just in time; everyone is headed to Avenger Con. We see:
- Someone holding a Tesseract
- Two star spangled girls from The First Avenger,
- Female Sorcerer Supreme
- Someone with a Captain America shield
Hiding the Bangle
Before Kamala leaves the house, she takes the bangle from Nani from its hiding place in the attic. The lights flicker when she holds it. Pan to her Girl Scouts vest and a book she wrote about Captain America when she was younger.
Captain Marvel Funko POP
As Kamala jumps out the window to meet Bruno for Avenger Con, we see a Captain Marvel Funko POP on the shelf. She is wearing an Avengers shirt, not her costume.
Camp Lehigh
Camp Lehigh, Home of Captain America, and home of the first ever Avenger Con are the same.
Camp Lehigh is where Steve Rogers trained before being injected with the super soldier serum. Camp Lehigh is also the former home of Arnim Zola’s mind.
There is a statue of Captain America, Steve Rogers, outside the barracks to Camp Lehigh.

Embiggen
Kamala embiggens her arm and hand to help break Zoe’s fall.
In the comics, Zoe is also the first person Kamala saves after her transformation when she fell into the Hudson River.
Matthew Lintz as Bruno in Marvel Studios’ MS. MARVEL, exclusively on Disney+. Photo by Daniel McFadden. ©Marvel Studios 2022. All Rights Reserved.
Hudson River
Bruno makes a joke about falling into the Hudson. This is a nod to the comics when Kamala falls into the Hudson River and transforms.
Trust-A-Bro
During the credits, there is Trust-A-Bro Moving Company Truck. This is a nod to the tracksuit mafia in the Hawkeye series and comics.
Post-Credit DODC
Agents from the Department of Damage Control (DODC) are watching a video someone took of Kamala at Avenger Con. Agent Cleary from No Way Home tells Agent Deever(Alysia Reiner) to bring her in.
There are papers on one of the desks including a police report and a wanted poster looking for a “caucasian male with brown hair” wanted in connection with a double homicide on July 12, 1979, in the Municipal graveyard.
“Marvel Spotlight” (1979) #1 “Marvel Spotlight on Captain Marvel” was published July 1, 1979, as was the “Marvel Team-up: Spiderman and Nick Fury: Slaughter on Tenth Avenue!” (Vol. 1, No. 83, July 1979).
Ms. Marvel Easter Eggs Episode 2: Crushed
Ms. Marvel #13 (2015) by Takeshi Miyazawa (artist), Ian Herring, Irma Kniivila (colorists), G. Willow Wilson (writer), Joe Caramagna (letterer). Marvel Comics.
Kamran, New Kid in School
Kamala runs into Kamran, the new kid at school.
In the comics, Kamran was a childhood friend of Kamala and also an Inhuman. He ended up working for Gordon “Gordo” Nobili, a.k.a. Lineage, and kidnapped Kamala when she refused to join forces with him. Kamran’s comic powers include Bioluminescence and Biokinetic Charges, the ability to use his body to channel energy to shock or to transform it to another object causing it to explode.
Talking to Ants
Kamala sent Bruno videos and he asks her for an explanation as to what is happening in them. She says she tried to shrink, fly, and talk to ants, but none worked.
And why did Kamala think she could talk to ants? Because she thinks she is a lot like Scott Lang (oh podcasts, episode 1 callback). Kamala also noted the similarity between she and Lang in that the fact that people think regularly think they are both younger than they actually are. That nod to Paul Rudd never aging is classic.

Powers from Within
Bruno figures out that Kamala’s power is coming from within and the bangle is somehow unlocking them.
This is similar to Kamala’s comic book origin story where the Terrigen Mist unlocked her dormant inhuman powers.

Hard Light / “Am I related to Thor?”
Bruno and Kamala call her power hard light because that is what seems to come out of her. She asks at one point, “Am I related to Thor?”
Venom
One of the group members of Swet Shop Boys, Riz Ahmed, played Carlton Drake in the movie Venom.

Dirty Dancing
Kamala dances her own Dirty Dancing scene to Be My Baby by the Ronettes.
Black Widow
While Kamala daydreams about Kamran, her nose and hand start to glow, and we see she is wearing a Black Widow shirt with the classic comic book Black Widow design.
Star Wars
Another Star Wars nod in this Episode, as Principal Wilson calls Bruno into his office to tell him the good news about Caltech. He makes a Star Wars reference, as he likens himself to Obi-Wan Kenobi telling Luke he is going to be a Jedi (and also another pop culture reference with Meryl Streep in the Devil Wears Prada).

Driving Lessons
Kamran waits to take Kamala driving.
In the comics, Kamran offered Kamala a ride to school, and instead, he kidnapped her for Lineage.
Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani) in Marvel Studios’ ETERNALS. Photo by Sophie Mutevelian. ©Marvel Studios 2021. All Rights Reserved.
Kingo
Kamran and Kamala talk about their mothers’ obsessions with Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan. Kamala mentions her mother loves Kingo. Kamran said his mother also has a thing for Kingo, but rather, Kingo Senior. Kingo (and Kingo Senior) are the same person, Kingo of the Eternals.
Pop Culture Nods
When Aamir spots Kamala and Kamran, Kamran pretends to be a cousin and boasts a British accent because of his love of The Great British Bake Off.
Aamir reveals he had a goth phase when he worked at Hot Topic.
Karachi and a trail of stars
Grandmother Nani was a little girl she was separated from her parents on the train platform as they escaped to Karachi after the partition. This is the same night, Nani’s mother, Aisha, disappeared bringing shame to the family.
No one knows how Sana (Nani) made it back to her father, but Nani claims she followed a “trail of stars” to find him.
(L-R): Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan, Anjali Bhimani as Auntie Ruby, and Sophia Mahmud as Auntie Zara in Marvel Studios’ MS. MARVEL, exclusively on Disney+. Photo by Daniel McFadden. ©Marvel Studios 2022. All Rights Reserved.
Illuminati
Muneeba refuses to talk about Aisha; Kamala makes a plan to find the Illumin-Aunties at the Eid al-Fitr celebration. This is a nod to the comic group the Illuminati.
DODC
Zoe is at the DODC office. Agent Cleary is asking questions to identfy the enhanced individual. Zoe doesn’t know her name and refuses to give details/cooperate with the Agents.
Cleary tells Deever to sweep every mosque and community center but to be careful as the FBI is also surveilling individuals. This seems like nod to FBI Agent Jimmy Woo…Westview is just down the road, after all.
The DODC spots Kamala via drones, but she runs.
Najma
Kamran shows up to help Kamala escape from the DODC drone, and doesn’t bat an eyelash that she is dressed as she is or that she has powers. His mother, Najma, is in his car and tells Kamala she has been waiting a long time to meet her.
Najma is the same woman Kamala saw in her visions. She knows the bangle and powers are tied to her past and her great-grandmother and wonders somehow if Najma is Aisha.
Ms. Marvel Easter Eggs Episode 3: Destined
Bangles
In 1942 in British Occupied India, we meet Najma (Kamran’s mother) who has found the bangles in a temple attached to a severed blue arm—likely a Kree arm, further tieing Kamala’s powers to Carol Danvers.
Aisha (Kamala’s great-grandmother) grabs the bangle. They are looking for a second bangle, as they were told they would need two bangles.
The idea that the bangle played a part in Aisha’s survival during the partition, comes from the comics.
Ten Rings Symbol
The Ten Rings symbol appears on the floor of the temple where the bangles were found. This strengthens the notion that the bangles and Shang-Chi’s rings come from the same place of origin.
Are these the Nega-Bands? Is this what Carol was alerted to at the end of Shang-Chi when she got called away?
Noor Dimension
Najma tells Kamala that Aisha, Saleem, Fariha, and Aadam are from another dimension, and they were exiled to this dimension 100 years previously and are still trying to find a way home.
When Kamala put on the bangle, Najma sensed the presence of Noor. Noor means light, and it is cannot be accessed in this dimension without the bangle. Because Kamala is from this dimension, she is able to access the Noor within her.
Clandestines
In the Noor Dimension, Aisha et al and others are called Clandestines.
In the comics, the ClanDestines are a group of powerful Djinn magicians. Over the years, the ClanDestines in the comics have changed—at one point they were considered villains, and now they are considered superheroes.
Dr. Erik Selvig
Kamala asks Bruno about the Noor Dimension and Interdimensional Travel, and Bruno remembers a paper by Dr. Erik Selvig of the Thor movies.
DODC
DODC shows up at Kamala’s mosque and attempt to search the premises, but Nakia steps in and tells Agent Deever since she does not have a warrant, she’ll have to come back.
Minaret Madman
One of the aunties asked the Sheikh about the DODC coming to the mosque; she told him they thought he was the Minaret Madman. Minaret is the tower attached to the Mosque, and they are calling Kamala a “Madman.”
Iron Man
Kamala is wearing an Iron Man shirt. We’ll forgive her this one.
Primordial Powers and the Djinns
Mr. Khan stops by the Circle Q and sees Bruno is studying the Djinn.
He offers to help him translate the Urdu. Djinns are also known by the names genie and demon. He tells Bruno that a group is trapped here, exiled for eternity and the only way home is to use primordial power.
In the comics, the Power Primordial can be used to produce a wide range of effects, including augmentation of physical attributes (strength, durability, speed), molecular restructuring, creation of force fields, teleportation, and numerous other abilities. The first instance of Power Primordial was in The Avengers #28 (May 1966).
Each of the 11 Elders of the Universe possesses a fraction of what is referred to as the Power Primordial, remnants of the primordial energies of the Big Bang that still permeate the universe.
The Elders later join forces and meet on Ego the Living Planet (who is also regarded as an Elder) in an effort to kill the cosmic entity Galactus, which would cause the concepts of Eternity and Death to become unbalanced and end the Universe.
One Elder, the Contemplator is revealed to have survived after a fight against the Silver Surfer—as a disembodied head—and goes on to attempt to rule the Kree Empire.
Wedding!
Ms. Marvel co-creator Sana Amanat has a cameo as one of the wedding guests.“Brown Jovi” is the cover band, and being in NJ is very clearly a nod to Bon Jovi; Living on a Prayer plays after.
Embiggen
Kamala uses her embiggened fist to punch Bruno’s attacker during the fight against the Clandestines. Kamran steps in to help, despite the fact that Najma is is mother.
Bangle Powers
Najma touches the bangle and sees the train from the night Aisha disappeared.
DODC arrives and captures the Clandestines. Bruno and Kamala escape. Nakia sees Kamala using her powers.
Nani calls Kamala at home and tells her she also saw the train and that she needs to come to Karachi.
Mask
Bruno leaves a gift for Kamala at her house: the mask that is part of her final comic-accurate suit.
Ms. Marvel Easter Eggs Episode 4: Seeing Red
Genetics
Kamala is shown a painting of her great-grandmother Aisha. Kamala asks her grandmother why she sent her the bracelet and if she is a Djinn. Nani tells her yes, that is what her father told her. However, it is just genetics.
In the comics, Kamala’s Inhuman powers are dormant until she comes in contact with the Terrigen Mist.
“Find beauty in the pieces”
Nani tells Kamala to, “Find beauty in the pieces.” The bangle is trying to speak to her, in a sense, and that is why she needed to come to Karachi.
Train
Kamala has a nightmare reliving the events of the past few days. She hears a voice saying, “find the train.”
ABCD
Her cousin makes a joke about her being an ABCD (American-born confused Desi).
In Shang-Chi, Jon Jon makes a similar joke when he tells Katie he speaks ABC (American-born Chinese).

Avenger Con
Kamala is wearing an Avenger Con shirt as a callback to Episode 1. You can also see her wearing the mask that Bruno gave her as she explores the under renovation train station.
Ant-Man
There is an Ant-Man mural that reads, “You can start small and still be larger than life.”
Canadian, eh?
A knife thrower asks Kamala, “Do all masked Americans have superpowers?” She replies, “How do you know I’m not Canadian?” The actress Iman Vellani is actually from Canada.
Red Dagger
Kareem a.k.a. the Red Dagger throws a knife at Kamala in the train station.
In the comics, The Red Daggers were formed in order to protect people from unseen threats like the Clandestines.
Pop Culture Nods
As they fight, Kamala asks him if he learned how to fight from the Ninja Turtles. Kareem retorts by asking her if she learned how to fight from Donkey Kong.
Kareem drops a line from Terminator 2, “Come with me if you want to live!”
Kareem takes her to the ABC Chinese Food Restaurant, which is actually the location of the Red Daggers.
Inside the restaurant, Kamala meets Red Daggers leader Waleed, played by Bollywood star Farhan Akhtar.
Waleed reveals that the Noor dimension is essentially on top of her own, in a similar fashion to how the Inhuman city of Attilian is located above the United States.
Waleed also translates what the bangle says: “What you seek is seeking you.”
DODC Supermax Prison
At the DODC Supermax Prison, the Clandestines escape and leave Kamran behind.
Genetics, again
Waleed believes it is Kamala’s genetics and her ties to Earth as well as Aisha that gives her her powers. He gives her a blue vest and tells her she is not alone. Blue is the color of the Kree.<
Reverse, again
Kamala jumps in a truck and she puts it into reverse instead of drive, just like she did during her driver’s test in episode 1.
Bangle, Damaged
Najma stabs Kamala’s bangle and it sends Kamala to the past back to the night Aisha disappeared.
Ms. Marvel Easter Eggs Episode 5: Time and Again
Bangle Flashback
A newscast showing the night of August 15, 1947, when India and Pakistan were freed from British rule. This was a bloody and violent time of separation, and in order to best understand, the announcer says we must go back to 1942.
We see Aisha, wearing the bangle, running from a soldier whom she kills. She ends up in a village where she meets a man calling for peace and freedom. The man is Nani’s father and Aisha’s soon-to-be husband, Hasan.
“What you seek, is seeking you.”
Hasan recites a poem with the line, “What you seek, is seeking you,” which is the inscription on the bangle that Waleed translated in Episode 4.
More Bangle Powers and a Train Escape
Najma finds Aisha and wants her to use the bangle to send them home. Aisha lies and says she hid the bangle (it is in the house with young Sana [Nani]).
Aisha gives Sana the bangle and tells her that it will keep her safe on the night they leave to escape India.
On the train platform (as seen in Episode 3), Aisha gives Sana to Hasan and leaves to face Najma. Najma stabs Aisha and Sana gets separated from her father. Aisha uses her last bit of dying strength to activate the bangle and Kamala appears on the platform.
Aisha gives Kamala a photo she was holding. Kamala helps Sana get on the train, using her hard light to lead Sana to her father. Hasan believes it was Aisha who helped Sana get to him.
The Veil of Noor
The Veil is open and Kamala reappears in the market.
One of the Clandestines approaches The Veil of Noor to go home and she turns to dust. Kamala tries to close The Veil. Najma closes it as she passes through The Veil but dies doing so, though she somehow transfers her powers to Kamran.
Both of the Clandestines deaths at The Veil of Noor echo those by the Terrigen Mist Cocoons in Agents of SHIELD.
“Light Girl”
Muneeba and Nani find Kamala and discover she is the “light girl.”
Red Scarf
Kareem gives her his red scarf. This becomes a piece of her final comic-accurate Ms. Marvel costume.
Ms. Marvel’s Symbol
Kamala’s mother finds her necklace broken, and it is now in the shape of Ms. Marvel’s symbol.
Circle Q Destroyed
Kamran arrives and tells Bruno he has nowhere else to go. As they devise a plan, a DODC drone shows up. Kamran uses his newfound powers to hit it, but it shoots and destroys the Circle Q.
Ms. Marvel Easter Eggs Episode 6: No Normal
“No Normal”
The episode title, “No Normal” is the same name as the 2014 Ms. Marvel comic run.
DODC
Bruno and Kamran are running from the DODC when they catch up with the boys on the train. NYC’s finest…Department of Damage Control (DODC) are on the scene to clean up the supernatural superhero messes.
Comic Accurate Ms. Marvel Suit
Kamala’s mother gives her the Ms. Marvel suit that she made for her. The suit is the comic accurate version of the suit from the Ms. Marvel comic run.
Sanctuary at the Mosque
Bruno and Kamran go to the mosque thinking it should be a sanctuary, but Nakia reminds them that in the U.S. those same rules regarding places of worship being sanctuaries don’t always apply and that the DODC probably has it under surveillance. She suggests hiding at the high school.
Hats as Disguises
Sticking with the ongoing running joke of hats as the perfect disguise in the MCU, one of the Mosque bros and the Imam give Bruno and Kamran hats to disguise them.
Najma’s Voice
When Kamran hears Najma’s voice in the alley, he said it feels like he is being crushed from the inside.
A little help from a friend
Kamala calls Kareem and asks if he can help get Kamran out of the state, and he tells Kamala he knows someone who can help.
Zoe owes Kamala
When the group meets at the school, Zoe is there and she tells Kamala she owes her for saving her life (Episode 1).
Superheroes don’t need chaperones!
Aamir shows up at the school to supervise Kamala, sent by their mother. But clearly, superheroes don’t need chaperones!
TikTok Blast
Zoe goes live on TikTok to show everyone what the DODC is doing. We’re seeing more and more social media posts in MCU shows and movies (Spider-man No Way Home).
Home Alone Traps
Once in the high school, the group use some Home Alone-esque traps and diversions to fend off the DODC
Embiggen
As Kamala is about to save Kamran from the DODC, she uses that magic comic book word…EMBIGGEN.
Ms. Marvel author is a FAN
As Kamala is rewatching all the TikTok videos of the people she has saved, we see Ms. Marvel author G. Willow Wilson.
Best Dad in the MCU
The award goes to…YUSUF. Sweet rooftop chat with Kamala reveals that they named her KAMALA because in Arabic, “kamal” means “perfect,” but in Urdu, it translates better to “wonder” or “marvel.”
Ms. Marvel Sitting on a lamppost
The iconic shot of Ms. Marvel sitting on the lamppost is directly from the comics.
Mutation
During the One Week Later scene, Bruno tells Kamala there is something different about her genes, like a mutation. In the background, you can hear the cartoon X-Men theme playing. We recently heard this same theme in Multiverse of Madness when Professor X is revealed.
Shawarma
Nakia tells Bruno and Kamala, “Get in losers, we’re getting Shawarma,” which is a callback to the first Avengers movie when the team gets Shawarma and also a nod to the movie Mean Girls.
Post-Credit Captain Marvel
We knew it was coming!
Kamala’s band begins to glow and in a split second Kamala is transported somewhere yet TBD, and in her place, we get a quick peek at Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) with long hair as she enters Kamala’s room.
This supports the theory that the bangle Kamala wears maybe in fact be a Kree Nega-Band.
Ms. Marvel will return in The Marvels.
