This is a sponsored post in partnership with Shout®. As always, all opinions are my own.

Happy kids are messy kids—just ask any of my four kids or my toddler nephew. Typically, the messier the fun, the happier the kids. Sometimes fun activities aren’t clean ones. From muddy pumpkin patches to Color Runs, good fun isn’t always clean. The pumpkin patch always yields muddy shoes or boots and often muddy clothing, too. So while picking out a pumpkin every year isn’t the cleanest activity, it sure is fun and creates great memories.

Yet, half of Americans let the fear of getting out stains prevent them from having fun, according to a recent Shout® survey. As a parent, I don’t let stains scare me because I know I have tools like the Shout® Trigger Triple-Acting Stain Remover, Shout® Advanced Gel, Shout® Color Catcher®, and Shout® Wipes to fight against stains.

And we’re not just talking about “old school” stains like mud and grass or ketchup and mustard. Thanks to my kids, I realize how different this generation of stains really is. With my kids’ generation, things like sriracha, hot sauce, salted caramel lattes, curry, and kale smoothies are my laundry reality. I’m not complaining—I love that I have healthy, adventurous eaters willing to try new things! Heck sometimes, it’s me that gets a stain, too. I was at the International Food bloggers Conference a few weeks back and someone bumped into me while I was eating a Chicken Coconut Curry soup sample—which was delicious, but not all down the front of my brand new black and white dress!

Thank goodness for Shout® Wipes and Shout® Trigger Triple-Acting Stain Remover to help me get that stain out. I treated the dress as soon as I got back to my hotel room with the Shout® Wipes and then used the Shout® Trigger Triple-Acting Stain Remover before it got washed in the machine. Two washes later, and it was a brand new dress! That was one tough stain, but it came out!

Parents know a thing or two about stains. When I was growing up, my mom and dad knew what was staining our clothes. Typically it was finger paint, grass, or mud. With my kids, I always have to ask. I always know I have the right product on hand to treat a stain, but rarely is it obvious as to where the stain came from. Luckily for me, two of my kids wash their own laundry. We taught them the importance of treating stains before they get washed and equipped them with Shout® products to get the job done. We don’t want them to be those kids that go to college still having their parents doing their laundry on break. With every new stain that greets us in the laundry room, Shout® stain fighters help us clean them all. That’s why my laundry counter looks like this:
