I received the Kuhn Rikon Kitchen Tools for review as part of the MPM Holiday Gift Guide. All opinions are my own.

Kuhn Rikon Kocheblume 11.5″ Spill Stopper

One of my biggest pet peeves when cooking is boil overs. With the Kuhn Rikon Kochblume Spill Stopper, you can eliminate spills like nobody’s business!

Kuhn Rikon Review

Kuhn Rikon Kocheblume Spill Stopper

When you place the Kuhn Rikon Kocheblume Spill Stopper on top of your pot with boiling water, the excess steam and bubbles escape out of the “blooms” on top of the spill stopper, stopping the extra steam and bubbles from pouring out over the edge of your pot.  This Kuhn Rikon Kocheblume Spill Stopper is pure genius. The majority of your steam and moisture stay right in the pot where they belong, but we all know sometime whatever you’re boiling bubbles up over the top of the plan. The spill stopped eliminates this from happening.

Kuhn Rikon Large Foldable Splatter Guard

As far as I’m concerned, a splatter guard is a must if you cook. Period. The Kuhn Rikon Large Foldable Splatter Guard fits my largest skillet perfectly and leaves an overlap on my smaller saute pans and skillets. Anytime you cook with oil or greasy foods at a high temperature, you are likely to get splatter.

Kuhn Rikon Foldable Splatter Screen

The Kuhn Rikon Large Foldable Splatter Guard  catches the splatter and keeps it in the pan. It’s easily washed off in the dishwasher and folds for storage so it’s not quite for space consuming.

Kuhn Rikon Large Collapsible Colander

The Kuhn Rikon Large Collapsible Colander is fabulous for straining hot liquids and then storing in a small, compact space, I love that this colander lies flat with my lids and plates instead of having to be expanded to fit with bowls and other bulky kitchen items. One of the great features of all three of the Kuhn Rikon Kitchen tools is that they are able to go in the dishwasher. I hate doing dishes by hand!

Of these three fun Kuhn Rikon products, I’d be most excited to try the Kocheblume Spill Stopper. It seems that every time I boil potatoes, I have a spill-over and a mess to clean up.

I like the collapsible colander for draining pasta. I am always looking for an easy to store and clean contraption.
