Sometimes I read through the spam comments to make sure there isn’t an actual comment that got flagged my mistake (it’s only happened once). I find some of the comments humorous, for varying reasons. Here are a few of my recent favorites.

“Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it
seems as though you relied on the video to make your point.
You clearly know what youre talking about, why waste your intelligence on
just posting videos to your weblog when you could be giving us something informative to read?”

Yeah, so there was no video on that page.

“certainly like your web-site but you have to take a look at the spelling on quite a few of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I to find it very troublesome to tell the reality on the other hand I’ll certainly come back again.”

This comment has been sent to spam numerous times in similar forms. Funny, while I’m not perfect, I’m certain none of my posts “are rife with spelling problems.” Well, except for maybe this one as a copy/pasted the spam comments verbatim and did not fix the errors in the comments.

“I don’t even know how I ended up here, but I thought this publish used to be great. I don’t know who you’re however certainly you’re going to a famous blogger should you aren’t already. Cheers!”

Dang! I’m going to be a famous blogger. I just got my fortune told for free. Sweet. Thanks.

“Good day very nice website!! Guy .. Excellent .. Wonderful .. I will bookmark your website and take the feeds also{I am|I’m} satisfied to seek out numerous helpful information here in the publish, we need develop more strategies on this regard, thank you for sharing”

Clearly this person did not read the bio or get the memo that “mommy” tends to be a term used with females not with “Guy.”

“School polo shirts withunique design patterns and styles help students make a fashionable stylestatement”

Lies! All lies!

“This is a topic that’s close to my heart… Cheers! Where are your contact details though?”

Really? Fascinating that a giveaway of fruit and veggie keepers is a topic close to your heart.

“could you explain it more?”

Um, no. I can’t explain it more. If you need more explanation of my post about my interest in maybe going to a fortune teller, you are clearly following the wrong blog.

I always read the spam comments for a laugh! I have even had a couple promising sexual nirvana if I would only click over to their site and buy certain things. Getting inventive they are 😉

“Sweet blog! I found it while searching on Yahoo News. Do you have any suggestions on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Appreciate it”

Ahh, this gave me a good laugh! I was sent to comment on a non-giveaway post for a giveaway entry and found this delicious morsel. Glad I came to visit!
