This is a sponsored conversation in partnership with Acorn Influence and Poise Microliners. As always, all opinions are my own.

The Things No One Tells You About Having a Baby

As moms, there are about a hundred things that happen during pregnancy and birth that no one bothers to tell us are going to happen. Seriously, it was like there was this club of unspoken truths that no one wanted to divulge. I guess no one wanted to scare us so everyone—books, friends, parents, doctors, nurses, siblings, aunts, grandparents—just omitted all the details that might have been handy yet a bit scary or gross to know.

If you’ve given birth, you KNOW what I’m talking about.

The Things No One Tells You About Having a Baby

One of those subjects that no one ever bothered to talk about is light bladder leakage after giving birth. The fact that our bodies never go back to the way they were pre-baby, including our bladders. You know, the fact that a baby was tromping on your bladder for 9 months and all of a sudden it doesn’t work quite the same? Oh right, that.

Yep. I got off pretty easy. Even after twins, I have minimal issues. But there are still days, like when I’ll be laughing with girlfriends over something completely ridiculous—whoop, there’s a little pee.

The Things No One Tells You About Having a Baby

Thank goodness for Poise Microliners for light bladder leakage (LBL). Poise products are available at Walmart, and they are a much better choice for LBL solutions than traditional feminine care products are. Forget the fem care aisle and know that Poise Microliners are a better solution than just using your normal pads.

The Things No One Tells You About Having a Baby

Poise Microliners are the thinnest Poise liners yet and designed to provide enough absorbency to handle the occasional leak. Their absorb-loc® core quickly locks away wetness and odor while their thin-flex® design moves with your body.

Try Poise Microliners and get $2.00 off your first purchase. See the difference of using a product designed for LBL for yourself!
