This month, I’m attending a wedding and a red carpet premiere in addition to several conferences. Each of those events requires specific dressy outfits, and in the case of the red carpet premiere, it requires a new fancy dress. Events get spendy. The wedding is nice to have a new outfit for, but not a requirement. So when Macy’s Backstage asked me to come in and put together a new spring outfit—including accessories—for under $200 I said heck yes, let’s do this!

I had so much left over on my gift card (seriously, I had no idea I’d find a Tahari that was originally $148 for $39.99 and earrings for $14.99) I scored 5 new shirts for my husband, too!
