With all the traveling we do, it's great to be connected. I love all of our smart home connected devices. One of the best new devices we've installed is the Nest Yale Lock. We love the Nest Yale Lock for a more secure connected home.
Thanks to Best Buy for sponsoring this post. As always all opinions are my own.
The Nest Yale Lock is the connected lock for a more secure Nest home. Let me introduce you to my new friend the Nest Yale Lock, the secure, tamper-proof lock from Nest and Yale. It’s keyless, so I can lock and unlock the door from anywhere with the Nest app on my phone (even when I'm away from home). We already have a Nest Thermostat, so adding the Nest Yale Lock was as easy and installing the lock in place of our existing deadbolt, installing the Nest Connect (with the lock kit) and adding them to the app.
The keyless deadbolt gives you secure and tamper-proof locking. No lost keys. No picked locks. I can unlock my house with my phone, and so can the kids.
Because the Nest Yale Lock is tied to my Nest App, I have remote access from anywhere! I love that I can lock and unlock the door with the Nest app no matter where I am. I let my neighbor in today to grab something from the house. It was so easy!
The Nest App lets you assign unique passcodes for each user. You can give passcodes to family and guests, as well as set schedules to let them in. You can easily know when people are coming and going.
The access history feature is so convenient. I love that I can get alerts when someone locks and unlocks the door. Whether my kids are home from school or the house cleaner has just left for the day, I know who is coming and going and when.
The one-touch locking is one of the best features. I simply tap the “Yale” button to lock the deadbolt on my way out the door.
Some features, including mobile alerts, remote control, and custom schedules require the Nest app, working internet and Wi-Fi, and Nest Connect or Nest Guard. Another exciting thing is that Nest Yale Lock will soon have Alexa voice control via Alexa Skills. I can't wait to lock my door with the sound of my voice!
Right now, you can also get a free Geek Squad install with the purchase of the Nest Yale Lock will through 5/15.
The perfect complement to your Nest Yale Lock is the Nest Hello Doorbell video doorbell.
Nest Hello video doorbell lets you know who's knocking and see who's there so you never miss a visitor or a package. With 24/7 streaming, you can check in anytime and view a 3-hour history to see what you missed. You get an alert and talk to visitors at your door from anywhere, you don't even have to be home.
The Nest Hello HD video delivers bright, crisp, big images day or night so you can see who's there. You can see people head to toe or packages on the ground.
The Nest Hello offers intelligent alerts because it's smart enough to detect a person*, then alert you even if they don’t ring, and with HD Talk and Listen you can hear visitors loud and clear.
Some features of the Nest Hello, including mobile notifications, remote control, video streaming and video recording, require working internet and Wi-Fi.
*Nest’s familiar face detection feature is not available on Nest cameras used in Illinois. Certain state legislation may affect Illinois customers’ use of the feature, so we’ve disabled it as a precaution. If the home where you’re using your camera is in Illinois, you shouldn’t be able to turn on familiar face detection in the Nest app.

I would love one of these Nest Yale locks so that my family could have access to my home without using a key. I am one who is always losing my keys yet can remember a password from years ago. This would be a great addition to the home.
Heard of nest for a few years now, they are simple and quite high tech.
