The wait is over! Marvel’s ANT-MAN, is now in theatres everywhere! ANT-MAN is going to be the must-see movie of the summer. It’s the fun new family movie that connects perfectly into the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Here are my thoughts on the latest Marvel film.
Ant-Man is awesome. Period. I love the father/daughter relationship theme and that fact that the plot is much deeper than most Marvel films. And who doesn’t love a good heist movie? Although as Scott Lang tells us in the movie, it was never just about the heist.
The character development and relationships leave you wanting more and leave you feeling like you’ve seen a much deeper film than what you typically see from a Marvel movie. Director Peyton Reed has done an incredible job making this movie feel comedic yet feeling like a typical Marvel film.
From fire ants to whistling, and technology to wine, this movie has it all. The “Antourage” provides some incredible comedic relief, and Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Corey Stoll are all remarkable in their rolls. Paul Rudd bring the comedy you expect with his boy-next-door charm. And Corey Stoll is the ultimate villain.
You won’t want to miss Ant-Man.
Oh, and in true Marvel fashion, you’ll want to stay through to see the mid-credit and end-credit scenes. And watch for the Easter Eggs. There are many.
