We love trying new foods and dining establishments when we travel. Even better when they are local eateries with a special flair. If you’re looking for unique and tasty dining options in Bellevue, Washington, I have some great suggestions for you from our recent girls trip. I love being able to try new restaurants when traveling and being able to make recommendations for my traveling friends. Thanks to Vivo 53 and Monsoon for hosting us and Visit Bellevue Washington for suggesting T’Latte. As always, all opinions are our own.

Vivo 53

Vivo 53 offers wood-fired pizzas and modern takes on classic Italian fare, craft cocktails, and insane sundaes in rustic-chic space. Vivo 53 was voted ‘Best New Restaurant’ by 425 Magazine.

Whether you dine at Vivo 53 for lunch, dinner, or brunch, you have to leave room for one of their Insane Sundaes. They aren’t kidding when they call them “Insane.” They are HUGE and definitely large enough for dessert for at least two people, maybe more depending on how hungry you are.

We had Italian Brunch followed by that Insane Sundae. Brunch wasn’t disappointing. Bloody Mary, Pane Bianco, Burrata, Tuscan Fried Chicken and Waffle, Warm Brussels Sprouts Salad, and Brioche French Toast. I’m pretty sure we could have one of everything on the entire menu.

Monsoon blends traditional Vietnamese cuisine with Pacific Northwest innovation. The fusion restaurant was delightful. We started the evening with a Manhattan sampler: The Brooklyn, Black Manhattan, and Samurai. Their sampler menu is a great way to try several styles of Manhattan and share them. They offer a really unique craft cocktail selection with unusual flavors highlighting some of the Vietnamese flair infused with the Pacific Northwest location.

T’Latte

My friend and I visited this fab little local coffee shop not far from our hotel. T’Latte wasn’t one of the hosted dining opps we experienced while on our press trip, but it was relaxed and offered everything you want in a small local coffee shop. The scones were fresh and homemade, and the lattes were ample servings made with local roasts. I’d stop at this place again in a heartbeat when coming through Bellevue.
