Are there foods that make you reminiscent for your childhood? Maybe you see an ad in a magazine or a commercial that runs while you’re watching TV? For me, one of those nostalgic foods is Campbell’s® Condensed Chicken Noodle soup. My mom used to always make me chicken noodle soup when I was sick. When I wasn’t sick, it was one of those foods my sister and I ate to warm up after playing outdoors in the cold.
I’m not alone in loving my chicken noodle soup. Pop-art artist Andy Warhol’s inspiration for his “Campbell’s Soup Cans” series came from his eating it for lunch every day for 20 years. With more than 250 million cans of Campbell’s® Condensed Chicken Noodle soup sold annually, it is a family favorite among kids and adults, as portrayed in this commercial.
This month, my family and I will stay warm and celebrate National Soup Month with some Campbell’s® Condensed Chicken Noodle soup. Did you know that Campbell’s® Condensed Chicken Noodle soup celebrates its 80th birthday this month, too? Introduced in 1934, each can of Campbell’s® Condensed Chicken Noodle soup contains 32 feet of noodles—and the noodles are my favorite part.
