If you’re a Pacific Northwesterner like me, you likely shop your local Kroger banner store, Fred Meyer, like I do. You know they have lots of great programs to support the local community.
Thanks to Kroger and Mavrk for sponsoring this conversation on back-to-school fashion. As always, all opinions are my own.
Shop Levi, Wallflower and Vanilla Star and Support Your Schools
The “Support Your Schools” program is a legacy program for Fred Meyer. It takes just a few moments to set up as a customer, and your school district then earns $1 from each participating brand when you shop Back-to-School clothes and shoes. Earlier this month, we did a chunk of school shopping and this week we went back to grab some of my girls’ favorite brands like Levi’s, Wallflower, and Vanilla Star—because those three brands are this week’s featured participating brands.
Signing up for the program is super quick and it’s essentially free money back into your local school. If you already have a rewards card (of course you do if you shop there!) click this link to chose the organization you want your money to be donated to. If you don’t already have a Fred Meyers Rewards card? No sweat! Sign up at the store (it’s free) and start saving rewards and fuel points (my personal favorite!) each time you shop at Fred Meyer.
I love that the Kroger Family of Stores and Fred Meyer gives back to the community. It’s so easy to support my favorite nonprofit just by shopping at Fred Meyer with my Rewards Card—and you can too! The Kroger Family of Store is donating $2.6 million each year—up to $650,000 each quarter—to the local schools, community organizations, and nonprofits chosen by their customers.
