tula skin careTula is a new line of skin care products that uses patented Probiotic Technology, something pretty new to skin care products. Recent studies have shown that the topical use
of probiotics stimulates skin’s protective mechanism, improves
moisture and the balance of the “good” bacteria on the skin’s surface, guards against acne and UV-induced damage, and boosts skin’s elasticity and collagen production. These features all made me excited to do a 7-Day Balanced Skin Challenge using Tula products.

Tula 7-Day Balanced Skin Challenge

For 7 days (and a few more, now) I have used the following products as part of my overall skin care routine:

  • Purifying Face Cleanser
  • Illuminating Face Serum
  • Revitalizing Eye Cream
  • Hydrating Day and Night Cream

In the 7 days that I used the products, my skin was healthier and softer. One of biggest things I noticed is that I has much less acne and fewer blemishes than normal. That in and of itself is a win for me. The other thing I noticed is that the Revitalizing Eye Cream really made a difference in my dark puffy eye circles. Not long after applying the cream to the dark circles, they were less puffy and dark.

Dr. Roshini Raj, a gastroenterologist and internist, is the co-founder of Tula. She is a contributor to the Today Show, Good Day New York, author of “What the Yuck? The Freaky and Fabulous Truth About Your Body,” and a frequent guest on several other national shows such the Dr. Oz Show or the View. Tula is the Sanskrit word for balance. The concept of this new skin care line is that we need to take care of our insides to look good on the outside, and that feeling beautiful on the outside can improve how we feel on the inside.
