So Friday (the 19th) was #Zinfandel day, a 24-hour global social media event celebrating the zinfandel varietal. Some fellow VT Thirsty Girls and I celebrated by drinking…wait for it…zinfandel. My friend K brought a bottle of Plungerhead Zinfandel she found. How could you not try a wine named Plungerhead? The label in and of itself was worth buying the bottle.

The consensus: it was a good wine. Warm, berry undertones, with a hint of a pepper. Smooth, fruity finish. I will definitely drink Plungerhead Zinfandel again.

About Plungerhead:

Plungerhead is made with character for characters. An avant-garde collection of Zinfandels and Cabs from known California growing regions showcases your favorite varietal flavors.
