I drove the Lexus GS as part of a press loan. All opinions are my own.

Lexus GS 350

As a mom of 4, it’s been a long time since I’ve driven a sedan. A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to drive the Lexus GS 350 F-Sport, and I didn’t want to give it back. Donned in sleek black with a sexy red leather interior, this car spoke to me. I loved everything about this car. The gas mileage was pretty great, the navigation system rocked, it had great sound, and it still had lots of trunk space for a sedan. The Lexus GS handles well and cornered like a dream. Even low to the ground compared to my normal ride, it was quiet and dreamy as I cruised on the highway and on surface roads. Everything about this car screamed luxury, class, and function.

Oh, and even as the mom taxi, I could still fit kids…my three girls could all ride in the back seat, even with two boosters, quite comfortably.

Lexus GS 350 navigation system

One of my absolute favorite features is the navigation. The navigation system in the Lexus GS was hands down the best navigation system I have used to date—in any vehicle—including built-in navigation systems, stand-alone GPS units, or my iPhone. It worked seamlessly, it never “yelled” at me or got me lost, and the turn-by-turn navigation was impeccable. I wish I could buy this system to put in the car I own!

See, the Lexus GS 350 looks on me!

Here are a few more of the features in the 2014 Lexus GS:

  • Navigation system with 12.3-inch display
  • New 8-speed automatic transmission (RWD), 6-speed (AWD), with paddle shifters
  • HD radio with iTunes tagging and an Automatic Sound Levelizer
  • Dual-zone automatic climate control with interior air filter
  • Smart Stop Technology, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, and Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management
  • Standard 306 Horsepower
  • Variable Driving Modes
  • Park assist
  • Remote touch drive

She looks nice in my driveway! (Aw, there’s my sad panda of an SUV feeling neglected on the street in the background).

I really like Lexus. This review makes me wish I liked sedans! I’m minivan woman, heck I’d drive a minibus and be just as happy.
