One of the best things about this is that essentially no tools are required. My son helped me install it on our back door. The screen adheres using double stick Velcro tape pieces. This door is almost perfect! The magnets are pretty decent, but not super powerful. I had to use the optional tacks to keep the screen in place, but it works pretty well. Even with readjusting we can’t eliminate every single gap in the magnetic closure, so there are a few holes, but nothing huge—and fortunately the Portland, Oregon, area isn’t super buggy. I think as it hangs and flattens out from being folded in the box, the magnets will line up a bit more closely eliminating some of those smaller gaps.
