ikiki is a clothing company dedicated to creating shoes, booties, and other articles of clothing that are designed especially for kids. They found that shoes for kids tended to be adult shoes in tiny sizes, but that isn’t the best material or design for little developing feet.
ikiki’s squeaky shoes encourage healthy foot placement and walking habits in toddlers. I received the ikiki squeaky shoes in ‘Chairman Meow’ design to review. They came shipped in a cute little shoe box with their own dust bag. They are very lightweight but with a durable non-slip rubber sole. The bright colors are sure to win any toddlers attention. These fun and unique little kid shoes were a big hit with my toddler and are the first squeaky shoes he’s worn.
Once he figured out how to walk heel-toe to get the most *squeak* for his step, he was hooked and squeaked his way all over the house. Each character is unique and playful and the company offers two style options, squeaky characters for walkers and soft flexible booties for non-walkers.
Being able to turn off the squeaker is a great feature that came in handy when it was time to relax to not have the extra stimuli and also for times where quiet shoes are more appropriate.
The squeaker being on allows me to give him a little extra freedom while I’m getting things done around the house because I’m able to hear where he is. I would definitely recommend trying ikiki’s squeaky shoes to encourage healthy foot placement and walking habits in toddlers!

Those are the cutest! I haven’t seen shoes like these before. Just adorable!
