I received samples of Tandoor Chef for review. All opinions are my own.

Try Tandoor Chef for Restaurant Quality Indian Food at Home

Our family loves Indian food. I have yet to perfect the seasoning for curry, so we usually eat out for authentic Indian food. Tandoor Chef offers another option. They offer restaurant quality frozen Indian dishes right from your freezer, available at your local grocer. From appetizers to main course, and even naan pizzas, Tandoor Chef offers tasty work lunch options or convenient evening meals. Even better, 11 of their meals are under 300 calories!

Many of their entrees are preservative free, which is something I look for. It’s one of the reasons we rarely buy prepared meals, so the fact that i can buy a prepared meal without preservatives is a huge win. With so many people who have dietary restrictions, it’s good to know that companies have options for them. Tandoor Chef also produces a vegetarian and vegan line (11 dishes total) that is certified vegetarian/vegan by the American Vegetarian Association, and they also offer 15 gluten-free choices.

Of the varieties we tried, the Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Vindaloo were our favorites. The sauce in the Chicken Tikka Masala sauce was perfectly seasoned, with the right amount of sweet and savory. All four of my kids devoured it and wanted more. Tandoor Chef is the perfect quick lunch meal for me on a busy work day.

I have never had Indian food before. I previously lived in a town where there was an Indian Buffet but I never went there.
