This weekend, you’re going to want to go find the Ninja within ya. We loved the new LEGO Ninjago Movie. It’s full of heart and entertaining for all ages. Adult wisecracks, kid humor, and great lessons for all.
We have to remember we all have value. Everyone has an inner strength. We just need to believe in ourselves and tap into that strength. This goes for kids and adults. It’s a feel-good message from a movie that gives you all the feels.
The battle for Ninjago City calls to action young Master Builder Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends, who are all secret ninja warriors. Led by Master Wu, as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat evil warlord Garmadon, The Worst Guy Ever, who also happens to be Lloyd’s dad. As if high school wasn’t tough enough, having the city’s nemesis for your dad is just one more thing to make your life miserable.
LEGO Ninjago Movie has an all-star cast with some of my favorite actors like Michael Peña, Fred Armisen, and Jackie Chan. LEGO has even stepped up their animation game. The bricks look so real! Pay close attention to the Ninja’s vehicles, like Lloyd’s Green Ninja Dragon, so wild!
