Bravdo is a boutique family winery situated in the hills of Jerusalem. Bravdo Winery was founded in 2001 by Professor Ben Ami Bravdo and produces eight different wines including reds, whites and a rose.

Bravdo’s Coupage is a kosher wine and a delightful blend of 40% Cabernet Franc, 33% Shiraz, and 27% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine has been aged 12 months in new French oak barrels. It is firm, solid, and concentrated. This wine is very fruit forward and opens to show generous aromas and flavors of berries, black cherries, currents, bitter chocolate, and some tobacco and clove notes as well and on the long finish. It would pair beautifully with a brisket, making it a special addition to the holiday menu. (SRP $35)
While a perfect wine for those who keep kosher, it’s also vegan (most wine is not vegan).
