When you suffer from asthma and allergies, you’re constantly on the hunt for relief. My oldest daughter also has eczema like I do, too. With forced air heating and cooling, dust, pollen, and pet dander are constantly being recirculated in our home, even with built-in filters in the HVAC system.

Blue Family of Purifiers by Blueair for Clean Air

Blue Pure purifiers can help eliminate indoor allergens and purify air.

This post is sponsored by Blueair. As always, all opinions are my own.

Blueair’s new Blue Family of purifiers, like the Blue Pure 211+ and Blue Pure 411 available at , deliver more clean air, use less energy, and operate with less noise. These purifiers remove 99% of airborne particles up to PM 2.5, such as pollen, dust, and pet dander.

Blueair Blue Family of Purifiers in Multiple Size for Your Individual Needs

We have two sizes of the Blueair Blue Family of purifiers in our home: the Blue Pure 211+ and Blue Pure 411. They have slightly different features but work well for their purposes.

Both the Blue Pure 211+ and Blue Pure 411 feature:

• Effective Air Purification: A 360° air intake allows air to be drawn in from all directions to effectively filter out dust, pollen, smoke, allergens, viruses, chemicals, and other airborne impurities.

• Functional and Stylish Design: Blue’s one-button control lets you turn the unit on/off and set speed at the push of a button. The button’s LED will glow red when it’s time for a filter change. Match your purifier to your interior style with different fabric pre-filters, available in five sleek colors.

• Noise & Energy Efficiency: Blue purifiers pack a lot of performance into a small package. It is Energy Star certified for low energy consumption and operates at whisper quiet levels so you’ll hardly notice it’s there 17-56 dB(A).

The Blue Pure 411 (MSRP $99.00) includes particle + carbon filter and fabric pre-filters in Diva Blue and Dark Shadow and is recommended for smaller bedrooms, nurseries, dorms, or offices—161 sq. ft. My oldest daughter has this one in her bedroom. The Blue Pure 411 measures 16.7″ x 8″ x 8″ and weighs 3.35 lbs. It fits easily on her bookshelf.

The Blue Pure 211+ (MSRP $249.00) includes particle + carbon filter and fabric pre-filters in Diva Blue and Dark Shadow and is recommended for bedrooms, offices, nurseries, dorms, or small living rooms—540 sq. ft. We have this model in our family room. This one is larger at 21″ x 13″ x 13″ and 13 lbs., but still fairly unobtrusive.

We’ve noticed a pretty big difference just in the first week we’ve been running these two units. For instance, we ran our self-cleaning oven cycle this weekend and the Blue Pure 211+ in our family room helped clear out the odor from that immensely and much more quickly than would normally be cleared out (the family room is next to the kitchen and we have an open floor plan in our lower level). As far as allergies from dust mites and pet dander, we’ve noticed an improvement as well.

Stylish colors for your lifestyle

The Blue Pure 211+ and Blue Pure 411 both come with Pre-Filter Accessories that act as the first line of defense against larger particles. These fabric pre-filters for the air purifiers are removable, washable, and reusable and maximize airflow and the removal of large particles. They are available in five modern colors to fit your lifestyle and home decor or mood: Lunar Rock, Diva Blue, Buff Yellow, Dark Shadow, and Cristal Pink. They’re super easy to switch out and replace for washing, too! SImply slide the top off the Blueair purifier unit and slide on the stretchy filter.
