I tried three of Alvita’s 45 varieties, each an herbal remedy to support a healthy body: hibiscus, passionflower, and dandelion. Their teas come in an easy-to-reseal bag with 24 tea bags per bag instead of individually wrapped tea bags, which is better for the environment. Each box also comes with easy brewing instructions so you brew the perfect cup each time.
Dandelion root is traditionally used to support a healthy liver function. That seemed like an obvious choice to try given that I also review and drink a fair amount of wine. 🙂 I love the refreshing tart flavor of hibiscus (have you ever had a candied hibiscus flower in a glass of Champagne? YUM). Hibiscus is also traditionally used to support a the cardiovascular system. Passionflower is a perfect tea at bedtime, as it is known to help ease occasional nervous tension and support restful sleep. As a mom of four kids, I definitely have the occasional (often more-than-occasional) nervous tension.
