Ant-Man and the Wasp Donuts

We love creating movie-inspired recipes for films. This Ant-Man and the Wasp Donut is the perfect Ant-Man treat just in time for the new Marvel movie.

Ant-Man and the Wasp Donuts

Vanilla Honey Gazed Ant-Man and the Wasp Donuts

Donut Ingredients:

  • 2 2/3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 large egg (room temp)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Yellow and black gel food coloring

Ant-Man and the Wasp Donuts

Vanilla Honey Glaze ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1 drop Yellow food coloring

Ant-Man and the Wasp Donuts

Donut Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Use a baking spray to prep your donut pan.
  3. Set the pan to the side.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
  5. Whisk together the whole milk, sour cream, and eggs into a separate bowl.
  6. Whisk in the melted butter, vegetable oil, and vanilla
  7. Gradually whisk in the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined.
  8. Divide the batter into three bowls.
  9. Add several drops of Yellow food coloring in the first bowl.
  10. Add several drops of Black food coloring in the first bowl.
  11. Spoon equal amounts of the 3 colored batters into the donut pan.
  12. Bake at 400 degrees for 9 minutes.
  13. Allow donuts to cool a few minutes in the pan before removing to transfer the donuts to a wire rack to completely cool.

Ant-Man and the Wasp Donuts

Glaze Directions:

  1. Whisk together the milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Split the icing into 2 bowls.
  3. Add the yellow food coloring to one of the bowls.
  4. Gradually pour the yellow icing into the white icing.
  5. DO NOT STIR!!
  6. Dip the donuts into the icing and turn the donut 90 degrees
  7. Place the donut back onto the wire rack and repeat the previous steps for remaining donuts
  8. Let dry for an hour before enjoying!
  9. ENJOY!!
