What’s better than supporting products that are made in the U.S. by American companies? Supporting American-made products that also support our veterans.
Did you know that CK Mondavi Family Vineyards does just that?
Meet CK Mondavi Family Vineyards
CK Mondavi Family Vineyards was established in 1943 and remains a family-owned business that has thrived for four generations to produce fine wines that are sold nationwide in every U.S. state. CK Mondavi is the only American-grown and American-bottled wine in the “supermarket wine under $10” category and is run by the legendary Napa Valley wine icon Peter Mondavi, Sr. Mondavi is also a World War II veteran whose family and company honors their American heritage by supporting organizations that support our veterans.
CK Mondavi Supports our Veterans
Between May and August 2014, a percentage of each bottle sold is donated to Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF). Since 2012 when CK Mondavi began its partnership with IFHF, CK Mondavi has donated more than $50,000 to the organization, which supports the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. Funded entirely by public donations, IFHF serves U.S. military personnel wounded or killed in service to our nation and their families.
IFHF recently opened the National Intrepid Center of Excellence to support the research, diagnosis and treatment of military personnel and veterans suffering from traumatic brain injury (TBI). The fund is also launching a new project to build satellite TBI centers at several major military deployment bases around the country, in order to provide more direct care to our wounded heroes in uniform. My dad is a vet – he served in the Navy when he was younger. Because of that I support American made and Veteran services. There is an Army post near me that I regularly donate to.
