We’re fans of the ECOVACS line of robotics Vacuums. I was first introduced to them at CES in 2015. The first model we had in our home was the DEEBOT R95 and we are fans. So we were really excited when we were asked to review the newest ECOVACS DEEBOT N79S. Thanks to ECOVACS for sending us the ECOVACS N79S for review.

Let’s talk cost. The Ecovacs DEEBOT N79S is sold exclusively on Amazon at $249. It’s an incredible price for a robotic vacuum! The features are many, so this great bang for your buck. Here are just a few of the features that you are going to love:

The ECOVACS DEEBOT N79S is Easy to Set-Up
Download the “ECOVACS” App from the Apple App store or Google PLAY Store. Follow the directions in the Quick Start Guide to use the remote control to connect the app to your DEEBOT. Choose 2.4 Ghz, as the device isn’t compatible with 5 Ghz routers (like many CE devices on the market).
The ECOVACS DEEBOT N79S is Alexa Compatible!!
I love nothing more than being able to voice activate all the things. Simply go to the skills section in the drop-down menu in your Alexa app and enter “ECOVACS” into the search window. Click on “ECOVACS DEEBOT” and then “enable.” When it asks for your email and password, use your ECOVACS email and password and NOT your Amazon information, otherwise, you are linking your Alexa to, well, your Alexa. Select your country and your DEEBOT model.
The ECOVACS DEEBOT N79S Can Spot Clean, Edge Clean, and Room Clean
Whether you want the ECOVACS DEEBOT N79S to concentrate on one room, one part of that room, or your whole home, you can do it all. Spot Cleaning lets the DEEBOT N79S concentrate on the one part of your room that really needs it. After you start your N79s, you can either steer it to the offending part of the room with the ECOVACS app, or wait until it gets there and then press the Spot Cleaning icon at the bottom of your app.
Edge Cleaning lets your DEEBOT N79S leave its dock, take a hard turn, and work its way around the perimeter making sure that even those hard-to-reach places are free of dirt and dust.
Room Cleaning allows you to have DEEBOT N79S concentrate on just one room. Select the Room Cleaning mode and your N79s will go to town on just that room that is always a hot mess.
