When I was a kid, I always wanted one of those radios that you could hang on your shower head so you could jam to tunes in the shower. My parents never bought me one. Since I listen to music all the time…at home, in the car, at work…the HMDX JAM Splash Shower Speaker seemed like an awesome idea! Bluetooth wireless speaker in my bathroom (shower or in the soaking tub) so that I can listen to my jams? Yes, please!
Looking for a holiday gift for the gadget geek or music lover in your life? This is it. HMDX JAM Splash Shower Speaker comes in a nice, sturdy package, easy to open and easily recyclable. The JAM Splash was very easy to pair. It took just moments to pair with my iPhone, and I love that it doesn’t require an app, but just connects via bluetooth technology. The JAM Splash comes with a built-in kickstand and also a mount that can be hung from the shower or stuck on the shower wall with suction cups.
The JAM Splash has a 30′ range, but mine definitely has a longer range. Closer to 40′ was no problem. Once charged (via a micro-USB to USB cable), the battery lasts for about 6 hours.
The sound quality is great. I was surprised at how clean the sound was for such a small speaker. The JAM Splash is sturdy and water resistant and feel nice to touch. (Does that sound weird? It’s true.)
