Have you ever wanted to learn how to easily code? My kids love to code with products like Scratch and Raspberry Pi. They can take it a step further by branching out their STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, and Math) learning and coding skills with Sphero SPRK+ and advancing their logic and problem-solving skills.

Kids Can Code with Sphero SPRK+

The Sphero SPRK+ is a spherical robot that works together with the Lightning Lab app to combine programming, robotics, and other STEM principles. STEM toys are designed to encourage kids to develop skills in science, tech, engineering, and math and stimulate classroom-type learning outside of the classroom.

Kids Can Code with Sphero SPRK+

You can control SPRK+ using an app over a Bluetooth connection, and teach it to do all sorts of things like navigating a maze, paint, swim, or even function as a Magic 8 ball! The Sphero SPRK+ moves at a rate of over 4 and a half miles per hour, has a battery life of 60 minutes, and comes with its charging base and cable included, as well as tape for constructing a maze, a 360-degree protractor, and a sticker sheet.

We’ve barely scratched the surface of what SPRK+ can do. We’ve only gotten as far as doing a few simple programs but we’ll be diving into more of the capabilities this summer now that school is out.

Check this other STEM product we love:
