Kyocera Advanced Ceramics are excellent cutting tools for everyday use, including slicing vegetables, fruits, and boneless meats. The small ergonomic handle is perfect for little hands like mine; it provides a comfortable and controlled grip while preventing fatigue from cutting. This lightweight 8” professional chef’s knife is easy to clean simply hand wash with soap and water it can be used on wooden or plastic cutting boards.
The advance ceramic material in this 8″ professional chef’s knife is close in hardness to a diamond. Its rock-hard edge will not roll like stainless steel edges can, and the razor-sharp Kyocera zirconium oxide blade stays sharp up to 10 times longer than a stainless steel blade.
Unlike steel blades, ceramic blades will not transfer metal ions to the foods being cut and won’t corrode from acids or oils. Ceramic blades will never rust. Additionally, the Kyocera 8″ professional chef’s knife offers a lifetime warranty. Sleek and ergonomic, this is a lot of bang for your buck.

I love the 6″ Chef’s Knife. It would be great to have in the kitchen.
I don’t have a Santoku knife but would really like to try one. The 5.5″ Santoku Knife looks like a great all-purpose knife, not too big or too small, and I’d love to give it a try.
