LeapFrog Epic is a new one-of-a-kind Android™-based tablet that grows with your child that features a customizable and playable home screen and a web-safe, age-appropriate experience right out of the box that expands when they’re ready to explore more. For younger kids, this is great because they are really limited in what they can access online; for older kids, it’s great for the same reason. They also can’t make any in-app purchases, which rocks. Kids can learn as they grow from LeapFrog Epic’s auto-leveling learning games to Android™ kid-favorites for their own world of fun.
My girls love that they can each have their own profile on the LeapFrog Epic system so the games and apps they play are saved at the level they last used, no from where their sibling left off. That also perfect when your sibling isn’t at the same grade level as you (we have four kids and three grade levels in our house).
LeapFrog Epic games are awesome for education because they engage kids and support critical thinking while building confidence and understanding. Unlike a lot of other games and apps out there, LeapFrog fosters educational growth and development so I know if I hand the device to my child, they are learning while playing, not simply being occupied.
Some of the features of the LeapFrog Epic include:
- Android™-based operating system
- 7″ multi-touch capacitive screen with 1024×600 resolution
- 16GB memory
- Expanded LeapSearch™ Browser
- 6+ hours of battery life
- Different Reasons to Consider Using a Therapist in New York - March 12, 2025
- Is a Micro Wedding the Dream You Didn’t Know You Had? - February 14, 2025
- DIY Valentine’s Day Cards Inspired by Monster High - February 13, 2025
This actually looks to be a more manageable tablet for a younger child than some others I’ve seen. Might be an option for my 3 year old grandson. Thanks!
