Gentleman’s Collection Wine
The Gentleman’s Collection Wine features two varietals: Gentleman’s Collection Red Blend and the Gentleman’s Collection Cabernet Sauvignon.
Here’s the story of Dr. Lindeman from the Gentleman’s Collection Living Wine Label. Dr. Lindeman was the quintessential gentleman of the day. He was an upstanding man of formidable character and an Australian winemaking pioneer. A doctor by trade, he set his sights on civilizing the hard-drinking colony of 1800s Australia by introducing them to more gentlemanly pursuits, mainly the enjoyment of a refined drop–of red wine. When you check out both the Gentleman’s Collection Red Blend and the Gentleman’s Collection Cabernet Sauvignon you get to see a unique perspective of Dr. Lindeman and learn a little bit about who he was and what he stood for. The Gentleman’s Collection Cabernet Sauvignon Batch No. 1 is all about a Guide to Chivalry and Integrity and features Rule No. 1: Language Please. It very much reminds me of my favorite Patriotic Superhero. Dr. Lindeman emphasizes that a gentleman can make an emphatic point without the use of expletives. With Gentleman’s Collection Red Blend Batch No. 2 you get the lesson to Forgo Frills. My husband is a fan of this one: no frills. Dr. Lindeman professes that gentleman do not over-adorn themselves with flair and suggests that pocket squares and the like are unnecessary.
We enjoy the elegant Gentleman’s Collection wines for a quiet, classy night in but I’m looking forward to sharing them with a small group of friends, too.
