I sampled the the award-winning Mad Housewife Chardonnay and Merlot varietals.
Mad Housewife Chardonnay
This California Chardonnay is filled with flavors of melon, apple, and pear. I'm not generally a fan of California Chardonnays; there are only a few I actually like and this is one of them. It's got hints of oak with a nice creamy finish and medium-mouthfeel. This Mad Housewife Chardonnay
has won 17 awards at various wine festivals and competitions from 2007–2012. Amazing! The day I drank this, we paired it with a delightful lemon cake with cream cheese frosting.
Mad Housewife Merlot
I like Merlots, and this Merlot doesn't disappoint. The prominent blackberry and plum flavors balanced with hints of vanilla and spice make this Merlot easy to pair with numerous dishes. I paired with a Double Chocolate Oreo Whoopie pie from a local bakery and it was fantastic! The Mad Housewife Merlot 
has won 13 awards from 2008–2012. Not shabby at all!
