I received the Merino Kids Organic Cotton Baby Sleep Sack for review. All opinions are my own.

Merino Kids Organic Cotton Sleep Sack {Review}

While I used to believe all sleep sacks were the same, the Merino Kids Organic Cotton Baby Sleep Sack (for Toddlers 2–4 Years in Huckleberry) far exceeded my expectations. The Huckleberry pinstripe is perfect for the 2–4 age range, being boyish without to baby-ish. Being GOTS-Certified, I can take comfort in knowing that the raw materials are completely natural and free of damaging pesticides and chemicals.

Some of the features of this sleep sack made it ideal for my toddler such as the zippered bottom for easy diapering, but also that the zipper was stitched into the fabric such that it doesn’t touch his skin at all during wear. I try to avoid fleece-style sleep sacks as they make my little one sweaty and uncomfortable, as well as being cut too large so he’s swimming in extra fabric (and when he’s not happy, I’m not happy). The two layered organic cotton is a perfect weight, not too bulky, hot or heavy. Good quality fabric, reinforced snaps, nylon zipper and clean, even stitching sets this sleep sack apart from the competition along with overall shape and wearability.

This sack is easy to wash and dry with no special care required, coming out of the dryer in beautiful, ready-to-use condition. Another design *win* for me is that this sleep sack is designed to be used in car seats and strollers as well. This allowed me to easily transfer my toddler while he was sleeping, and I didn’t have to worry about waking him up to change his clothes. The buckle opening is tucked under a flap of fabric so it’s not open to air and doesn’t leave an uncomfortable drafty spot. The sleep sack comes pre-packaged and shipped in an adorable cotton dust-cover style gift bag with an equally adorable label and attached fabric swatch that can double as a gift tag.

Merino Kids Organic Cotton Sleep Sack {Review}

Overall I would give this sleep sack 5 out of 5 stars and definitely recommend it to others.  We love theMerino Kids Organic Cotton Baby Sleep Sack. It would make a great gift for new moms that will stay with a growing child and hold up to regular wear and tear. Who needs a blankie when you have a perfect, safe, Organic Sleep Sack instead?
