MISSING is an unpredictable, twisty-turning thriller not to be missed. Even when you think you have it all figured out, you’ll be blown away by an ending you won’t see coming.
MISSING Movie Review
Set entirely on screens, this SEARCHING follow-up film will leave you on the edge of your seat. This unique, modern storytelling medium is one that can be appreciated by anyone who spends hours a day on a computer but it’s for sure one that Gen Z will resonate with.
The story includes nods to cyberhacking and using all the internet skills we see in the world today—from a TaskRabbit knockoff to VPN usage, and internet spying software to digital camcorders & CCTV footage for tracking whereabouts.
MISSING far exceeded all expectations I had going in and Storm Reid was on fire in her role as June. Just when you think you may have it figured it, a new twist or turn will leave you just as confused as before—and unsettled given the amount of technology we as consumers have access to that can be used for both evil purposes and saving lives.
About MISSING
When her mother disappears while on vacation in Colombia with her new boyfriend, June’s search for answers is hindered by international red tape. Stuck thousands of miles away in Los Angeles, June creatively uses all the latest technology at her fingertips to try and find her before it’s too late. However, as she digs ever deeper, her digital sleuthing soon raises more questions than answers.
