We had an older version of this post in 2012 we first posted and did this update. I’d seen several versions of marshmallow/peeps martinis circulating online weeks and decided I needed to try it for myself. Peeps seem to be a staple Easter candy, but I’ve never understood the appeal. I’ve always preferred exploding them in the microwave to eating them.
Here’s a great way to use up some of your Easter candy. If you have a few that you haven’t exploded in the microwave, pink bunny Peeps make a tasty marshmallow garnish for a Pink Marshmallow Martini.
I didn’t love any of the recipes I tried, at home or in a restaurant, so I experimented with my own. Here’s the final formula and a photo of the results. It was sweet without being overly sweet and made me want more than one.
I hope you enjoy the recipe as much as I did.
Pink Marshmallow (Peeps) Martini Ingredients
2 oz Pinnacle Marshmallow flavored vodka
1oz Torani vanilla flavored syrup
Colored sugar for the rim
Pink bunny Peeps
Pink Marshmallow (Peeps) Martini Directions
Rim your martini glass with sugar: I chose pink because why not? And it matched the pink bunny Peeps I had on hand. Add ice to the cocktail shaker and pour the vodka and syrup over the ice. Shake vigorously and strain the cocktail into the glass. I added a pink bunny Peep for a garnish for your Peeps Martini.
