Thanks to Kroger Family of Store for sponsoring this post and giving me some extra time in my day! As always, all opinions are my own.
What would you do with an extra hour in your day? Or an hour and a half? I can tell you that in my life, that extra 60 or 90 minutes is worth its weight in gold. As a busy, working mom who travels a lot, I need all the help I can get saving time and finding a few minutes here and there. Fred Meyer’s new ClickList is the best time saver I’ve found yet. I can order my groceries online and then drive through to pick them up.
Fred Meyer’s ClickList gives me the luxury of shopping for my groceries from the convenience of my own home—sometimes in my pajamas late at night—and then I can simply drive through and pick them up while never leaving my car. Talk about a time saver. The first time I used the ClickList service, I was actually traveling! I placed my order the night before I came home from a trip. I used the ClickList app on my phone. I then picked up the groceries on my way home from the airport. Talk about a win for time savings and efficiency! I literally had less than 24 hours before I had to leave again for another trip, and ClickList allowed me to maximize the time I had at home with my family. I was so in love!
The service was so efficient and easy to use. I pulled in at my assigned time, gave them my name and information, and with in moments, my attendant had my groceries brought out, and in less than 10 minutes from start to finish my groceries were loaded in my car and I was on my way home.
Since that initial ClickList purchase, I’ve used the service twice more. It’s so convenient. The app is really easy to use, and if you are a Fred Meyer rewards card holder, it keeps track of what recent previous purchases. Those recent purchases are a great feature because they remind you the recent purchases you’ve made, and it loads them in the app for easy selection of what you may want to reorder. If I was traveling the week before, I don’t always know what’s in stock in my fridge, or I may not know exactly what brand of yogurt my kids had the week before that they really liked. The recent purchases can help me know what was purchased. It’s also great for helping stick to a budget. Without walking through the store and the aisles, there are no impulse buys and no children adding items to the cart.
The service is $4.95 per order (well worth an hour or more of my time!), but the first three orders are free! Near me there are about 10 Kroger Family of Stores that are featuring the ClickList service where I can shop for over 40,000 items, including fresh produce, meat and seafood, dairy and frozen products, across the entire store with more being added all the time. The orders are hand selected, and then they are stored appropriately, including refrigeration or freezing, until it’s time to load them into a customer’s car. Quality and freshness are ClickList’s top priorities then be stored .I can’t wait until more are offering it. Check out the ClickList app for yourself. What would you do with an extra hour in your day?
