This holiday season, I’m helping spread the spirit of Christmas with Stickman Stew and the Gold Heart Crew. At Stickman Stew, they’re giving away every other toy they make to children in need including homeless, sick, abused and neglected children, and children who have one or more parents in the military who have been deployed overseas. To help distribute these toys, I’m one of 25 bloggers who is helping to get the message out to kid-friendly non-profits all across America, including Metro Toy Drive in Portland, OR.

Who are Stickman Stew and the Gold Heart Crew?
They are bendable, posable plush characters shaped like the iconic stick figures cavemen drew on their caves 20,000 years ago and that kids still draw today. Like Gumby, they can be bent and posed into lots of fun shapes. Each of the collectible stick figures, STICKMAN STEW, STICKGAL SAL, STICKKID SID and STICKGIRL SHIRL has a golden heart emblazoned on their chest symbolizing the one thing we all share—a heart of golf. They seem to become instant buddies for kids once they lay their eyes on them. Parents love them too because they don’t need batteries—they’re powered by a kid’s imagination. The Gold Heart crew is big on respect. They even have an award dedicated to respect.
How it Works
Stickman Stew and the Gold Heart Crew makes a really cool Christmas present is that for every toy you buy online before Christmas, the company will donate a second toy to a homeless, sick, abused or neglected child who might not have a merry Christmas without our help. The company is partnering with about 30 kid-friendly non-profits across America who will receive the donated toy if a toy buyer selects that non-profit. For every Stickman Stew toy you buy online, they’ll donate one to a child in need.
