Star Wars Blue Milk Freakshake
Star Wars Blue Milk Freakshake Ingredients
- 1 pt. Mason jar
- Chocolate frosting
- Vanilla ice cream
- Skim milk
- Blue food coloring
- Silver, white, brown, and blue sprinkles
- 2 decorated donuts
- Blue and White Marshmallows
- Cotton candy
- Bamboo skewer
- Colored candy stick
Star Wars Blue Milk Freakshake Directions
- Prepare the marshmallow stick, alternating colors. Set aside.
- Cover the rim of the Mason jar with frosting by using a knife, much the way you would if you were to decorate the side of a cake.
- Cover the frosted Mason jar rim with sprinkles. We did this by placing sprinkles on a plate and rolling the rim gently into the sprinkles to cover the whole rim. This process is similar to dusting the rim of a cocktail glass.
- Set aside your prepared Mason jar.
- Make your milkshake. We used 6 scoops of ice cream (about 2 cups) and 1/2 cup of milk and added 8 drops of blue food coloring. This should make enough to fill your Mason jar, but you are welcome to play with the consistency to get the thickness of shake you prefer.
- Carefully pour your shake mix into the Mason jar.
- Top with donuts. Add the marshmallow stick and striped candy stick.
- Enjoy!
Note: We created one of the decorated donuts by heating a glazed chocolate donut in the microwave for a few seconds and covering in sprinkles.
