The Kentucky Derby is right around the corner and you know what that means? It’s time for Mint Juleps and wide-brimmed hats! This year, we’ve put a little spin on the Kentucky Derby classic. Try this Strawberry Ginger Julep for a refreshing twist on the Mint Julep.
Strawberry Ginger Julep
Ingredients
- 3 oz. Maker’s Mark Bourbon
- 2 oz. Ginger ale
- 2 Strawberries
- ½ oz. Simple Syrup
- Crushed ice
Directions
Muddle the simple syrup with one strawberry at the bottom of the Julep glass.
Add ginger ale and bourbon. Top with crushed ice. Mix.
Garnish with strawberry.
