August is double Birthday month for us as our twins celebrate a birthday. Since it’s summer, they love to choose a Baskin-Robbins ice cream cake. Baskin-Robbins offers an OREO®-themed lineup of ice cream cakes perfect for any special birthday celebration, which thrilled my daughters! The lineup includes:
- New OREO® Cream Delight Cookie Cake: This elegant creation features a cream palette and is complemented by a white dipping chocolate drizzled edge, OREO® cookies on top and a fudge border. This cake serves 12-16 people.
- New OREO® Cream Delight Cookie Roll Cake: Featuring the same look and feel as the OREO® Cream Delight Cookie Cake, this roll cake is a smaller portion which serves 6-8 people.
- OREO® Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches: This delicious frozen treat features a guest’s favorite Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavor sandwiched between two 3-inch OREO® Cookie Wafers.
It’s so easy. We go to the local Baskin-Robbins store and select a pre-made cake. They chose the Baskin-Robbins OREO® Cream Delight Cookie Cake. They do special orders, too, but we like to live on the edge and select what’s there the day before our event (we also aren’t that picky, it is just ice cream cake after all—it all tastes great!). They wrote our greeting on, packaged it up for us, and we took it home until we were ready to use it. So simple!
Baskin-Robbins also has a lineup of delicious frozen treats for August, including its August Flavor of the Month, OREO® Malt Madness, which features a combination of traditional chocolate malt-flavored ice cream, loaded with OREO® cookie pieces and a chocolate sea salt cookie flavored ribbon. This fun flavor can be enjoyed in a cup, cone or as a milkshake, and this month, guests can also upgrade any double scoop purchase with a freshly-baked waffle cone for no extra charge.
