About Beach Road Designs:
Our inspiration for Beach Road Designs began, like so many other summer days, when we boarded the ferry taking us to Martha’s Vineyard. Our first stop is always our favorite: State Beach. Stretching along Beach Road in Oak Bluffs, this magnificent area is the inspiration for our name.
For this particular visit to the beach, we grabbed a new beach blanket from the house. It was a great size, with plenty of room for the family. What we failed to notice until after using it, though, was that this blanket was dry-clean only. We couldn’t believe it. How was this possible? Who wants the hassle of dry-clean only beach blankets?
We thought about this over and over, and kept coming back to one simple question: Why doesn’t anyone make a comfortable, durable, machine washable beach blanket? Something large enough for the family that would fold up small, compact, and easy to carry.
No matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t find them. So we decided to make it ourselves, and the Beach Sheet was born.
I don’t know about you, but when we head to the beach, a beach sheet like this would be a fantastic tool in our beach arsenal!
