In honor of the new Alice Through the Looking Glass movie that open in theatres everywhere today, we have a fantastic blue cocktail inspired by Absolem, voice by the late Alan Rickman. No access to the party without an invitation, Absolem would say, but we’re giving you an invitation to this special party cocktail right here on the blog.

The Absolem (The Cool Blue Breeze) Alice Through the Looking Glass-Inspired Cocktail
Ingredients
- 0.5 ounces of fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 ounce Kinky Blue
- 1.5 ounces Bacardi Superior Rum Blanco
- 3 ounces Towne Club Honolulu Blue Cream Soda
- Lemon wedge for garnish
- Cocktail shaker
- Cocktail glasses
- Long handled cocktail stirrer
Directions
- FYI this cocktail should be stirred and not shaken. Capiche?
- In a cocktail shaker , add fresh squeezed lemon juice, Kinky Blue, Bacardi Superior Rum Blanco, Towne Club Honolulu Blue Cream Soda, and top with crushed ice.
- Using a long-handled cocktail stirrer, mix cocktail thoroughly.
- Strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a wedge of fresh lemon.
- Serve. Enjoy! “There are matters which might benefit from your attention. Hurry.”
