Üllo is a revolutionary wine purifier that filters sulfites with Selective Sulfite Capture technology to restore wine to its natural taste—as if you opened the bottle right at the vineyard. It is estimated that 3 million Americans may be sensitive to sulfites. When founder James Kornacki learned his aunt was sensitive to these chemicals, he made it his mission to solve this problem and launched Üllo.
Sulfites are artificial preservatives that are added to all wines to prevent oxidation and bacterial spoilage, but once the bottle is opened they are no longer needed. Some customers even claim that removing sulfites helps to prevent a headache the next day. The Selective Sulfite Capture technology process works by sequestering only sulfites, and allowing other compounds in wine to flow through unaffected. The end result is wine with less than 10 PPM (parts per million) of sulfites (most wines have sulfites ranging from 25-30 PPM with the legal limit being 350 PPM).
Available in the US, UK, Canada and Australia, Üllo now purifies wine for over a quarter-million customers worldwide.
In addition to removing sulfites, Üllo includes an adjustable wine aerator and comes with 4 replacement filters, a travel bag, and a display base to capture stray drips. It is made from BPA-free materials and fits on top of any wine glass, or integrates into Üllo’s custom, hand-blown glassware. Retail price is $79.99 with disposable filters sold in 6-packs $19.99, 10-packs, $29.99 and 15-packs for $39.99. Üllo WITH: carafe $129.99, decanter $149.99, Florence $129.99 and wine glass set $99.99.
Aervana™ is the original one-touch, luxury wine aerator. Many red wines need to “breathe” before they can be enjoyed at their best. Aervana dispenses and aerates your wine under pressure, providing more effective aeration all within an innovative “wine tap” format. Now, with Aervana, all it takes is one finger and the push of a button for perfectly aerated wine delivered straight to your glass. Instant aeration gives you the freedom to enjoy wine in any environment, in any quantity, both quickly and easily. $89.95

The 2016 Dead Horse is created using fruit from Washington’s premier cabernet sauvignon vineyards. Mature sites Ciel du Cheval, Kilpsun, and Red Willow provide the texture, nuance, and character, while the younger vineyards like Obelisco, and custom plantings from Quintessence add purity, vitality, and structure to this flagship wine. After finishing primary and malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged 21 months in 74% new French oak barrels. The 2016 Dead Horse is 91% cabernet sauvignon, 4% merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 2% petit verdot.
The 2016 Long Haul is created primarily of merlot from Red Willow Vineyard in Yakima Valley. With an average vine age of 25 years, and planted on ancient soils that were above the Missoula floods, Red Willow merlot offers a savory aromatic profile and a complex depth and intensity on the palate. The wine is lightly pressed to barrel, where it finishes primary and malolactic fermentation and is aged for 21 months in 64% new French oak. The 2016 Long Haul is 80% merlot, 9% cabernet franc, and 3% petit verdot.
The 2016 Little Sister is made using fruit from Red Willow and Phinny Hill, two world class vineyards that produce compact clusters with small berries leading to wonderfully rich and concentrated aromas and flavors. This stunning merlot is lightly pressed to barrel, where it finishes primary and malolactic fermentation and is aged for 21 months in 44% new French oak. The 2016 Little Sister is 100% merlot.
The 2017 Chardonnay is made using three clones grown on the north slope of Olsen Vineyards at over 1200 feet of elevation in diverse soils that offer a dynamic climate perfect for chardonnay. Clone 548 is low yielding and offers great aromatic intensity and palate weight. Clone 76 provides an elegant aromatic profile with focused acidity. And clone 809 is a chardonnay musqué clone known for its highly perfumed, muscat like, aromatic and intense presence in the palate. The wine is aged in 46% new French oak, 40% used French oak and 14% stainless steel. This wine is 100% chardonnay.
You can never go wrong with serving Mionetto’s classic Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut ($14) this holiday season. With aromatic notes of honey and acacia blossom, this wine can be served chilled on its own or used to create your own holiday cocktails. Meanwhile, your turkey dinner only needs one other thing to complete it; Mionetto Prestige Rosé ($ 14). This rosè is the result of soft pressing of red grapes. The peach blossom color, accompanied by a fine perlage brings liveliness to the holiday table. Serving this cuvée with a grilled turkey breast or fish (or a variety of fish on the Feast of Seven Fishes) is sure to be a recipe for success.
For gift giving this season, look no further. You can update your Prosecco with Mionetto’s Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG ($19) the luxury sparkling wine that should be at the center of all gatherings. This is an extroverted wine boasting a rich array of sensory impressions such as green apple, pear, emphatic citrus, and spring wildflowers. You can also try Mionetto’s Cartizze DOCG Dry ($45). A multi-faceted bouquet releases seductive impressions of apple and pear, alongside notes of citrus and glazed almond. On the palate it is crisp, well balanced, and elegant. Your recipients will thank you!
For stocking stuffers you should start with Mionetto’s signature DOC Treviso Brut Prosecco in mini bottles ($4). The classic ribbon beautifully displayed across the bottle means there’s no need to wrap. You can even customize with notecards displayed around the bottles neck.

Sometimes I love to gift wine based on the art. VICTO NGAI is a New York based, award-winning illustrator from Hong Kong. “Victo” is not a boy nor a typo, but a nickname derived from Victoria – a leftover from the British colonization.
Ngai's work has appeared in books, newspapers, magazines, advertisements, and animations.

Skeleton Key by William Chris Proprietors Blend
2017 Petillant Naturel: Start your guests off with a little natural bubbly and let the snacking begin! The winemaking team was intrigued by Pétillant-Naturel as a style of winemaking, thus it was first born to William Chris in 2014. This wine is unique in that it is lightly bubbly and often cloudy because fermentation is finished inside the bottle and does not experience filtration. A crown cap is used because it follows the true Ancestrale Méthode.
2017 Skeleton Key White: Essences of roasted pineapple, buttery custard, and lemon tickle the nose. Medium-bodied, this white wine evokes starfruit, passionfruit, and guava on the palate.
Pairing tip: Pairs great with butternut squash because of the butteriness of the wine pairs with the sweet and savory aspects of the butternut squash – it melts the flavors together.
Yes We Can's first wine, Sway Rosé, is the Lone Star State’s first ever Texas-grown canned rosé. It's for people like us. People that sway to the beat of their own drum. People on the hunt for something new. Something refreshing. Something that goes wherever, whenever.
Canned in Texas, the bone-dry rosé comprised of 100 percent Texas High Plains grapes, is medium-bodied and incredibly aromatic on the nose. Peachy in color, the wine itself has hints of guava, passionfruit, fresh strawberries and honeysuckle, leaving the palate with a crisp, refreshing finish. Sway Rosé pairs well with anything, from potato chips to caviar, bolognese to barbacoa tacos.
Our rosé is meant to be enjoyed anywhere and everywhere – floating the river, backyard BBQs, hanging out poolside, camping, or in the comfort of your own home.
UP Rosé 2017
UP Rosé by Ultimate Provence is a refreshing, dry rosé that will make a design-forward gift for any wine lover on your shopping list. Baroque meets chic in this intricately etched and intrinsically elegant bottle design. The light and bright red fruit aromas coupled with the vivacity of Syrah creates a wine that is pleasing to both the eyes and palate.
2015 Toccata Classico
Super Tuscan became a style in Italy during the 1970s when Sangiovese became the required majority variety in a Chianti labeled and varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot needed a place in the blend. The style found its way to our California shores in part due to those similarities between the climates in Tuscany.
With the 2015 Toccata Classico, winemaker Megan McGrath Gates made her interpretation of a Super Tuscan style. This wine has a good sense of tannin and body while showcasing red and black fruit, black cherry, smoky leather, earth, and spice. The blend is 50% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Freisa, and 5% Petit Verdot. The fruit comes from the Lucas & Lewellen owned Los Alamos Vineyard and Valley View Vineyard in Santa Barbara County.
Cannonball ELEVEN focuses singularly on expressing Sonoma County’s terroir through signature expressions of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This is the first line extension for the California brand Cannonball, whose founding vision was to make the best California Cabernet under $20. Their whites are perfect for continuing your white wine drinking well into the sweater season. Cannonball ELEVEN's Dry Creek Valley Sauvignon Blanc fruit is marked by that region’s sunny days and crisp nights with ripe, tropical fruit streaked with zippy acidity. The touch of French oak gives depth and richness.
The Cannonball ELEVEN Sonoma Coast Chardonnay carries the markings of that region’s direct maritime influence striking a balance between opulent and elegant.
Both wines pair perfectly with warmer season fare like fondue, roasted chicken and hearty pasta dishes.
Plungerhead makes wines of character for characters. Who IS that dude on the label? That’s Eddie, whose image represents our avant-garde collection of wines. How did he get a name like Plungerhead, you ask? As the story goes, our friend Edgar B. Plongerheid was fed up with the crooked misspellings and constant mispronunciations of his surname for the umpteenth time.
Clos Pegase 2015 ‘Hommage’ Chardonnay
Bursting with aromas of bakers spice, brioche and apple blossoms, this Chardonnay has all the hallmarks of Carneros terroir. Bright acidity counterbalances ripe fruit, verging into the melon, cantaloupe, and pear, spectrum, whilst keeping some green apple flavors for balance. The soft touch of oak helps support the complexity and depth of the wine, giving a touch of vanilla alongside the more secondary characteristics of fresh croissant and toasty hazelnuts. The palate is long and evolving allowing the drinker to savor all the character and intensity this wine has to offer. Carneros/Napa Valley $45
Swanson 2015 Merlot
In the glass, 2015 Napa Valley Merlot offers intense aromas of plum, crushed red fruits, and dried oregano, developing into more floral tones of violets and wet slate. The palate displays generous layers of red fruits, ripe plum, brown sugar and blackcurrants with more savory characteristics of seasoned leather and black tea on the finish. Texturally soft with firm tannins, which provide structure, this wine shows balance and persistence throughout the palate. $32
Columbia Winery’s pedigree of critically acclaimed, award-winning Columbia Valley wines continues with our portfolio of rich and intensely layered Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Red Blends and some of the best Washington wines. Winemaker Sean Hails selects exceptional vineyard sites from renowned regions within the Columbia Valley, including Red Mountain, Horse Heaven Hills, Ancient Lakes, Yakima Valley and Wahluke Slope. There, in the shadow of the majestic Olympic and Cascade Mountains, low rainfall and long days of intense sunlight translate to well-ripened, concentrated grapes with plentiful fruit flavor, soft tannins and refreshing acidity.

Born in Ocean Beach, California, Skrewball’s story is just as unique as the contents of the bottle. Skrewball started from the passion of a bartender and foodie who owned a local watering hole. His bar and restaurant is known for its band of misfits, black sheep and Skrewballs that have always encouraged the community to join the nightly party—but more importantly, were always there to support the community when anyone needed a helping hand.
Smooth Ambler Contradiction
At Smooth Ambler, after they began merchant bottling the whiskey they call Old Scout, it occurred to them that at some point it may be fun and interesting to blend a little of the delicious bourbon they source with the smooth and sweet wheated bourbon they distill in West Virginia. With that notion in mind, Contradiction was born; a blend of whiskey they make with whiskey they do not. Contradiction is non-chill filtered and is full-bodied, with notes of dried fruit and butter rum, and has the end-result of tasting like a four-grain bourbon.

This one changed the way we think of bourbon, all because one man changed the way he thought about making it. Bill Samuels, Sr., simply wanted a whisky he would enjoy drinking. Clear Creek Distillery Pear Brandy
Their Pear Brandy is made in the tradition of France’s classic Eau de Vie de Poire Williams. Bartlett pears grown just an hour away in the Hood River Valley are crushed at their absolute peak of ripeness. This whole fruit mash is carefully fermented, and the spirit is distilled in our German-made pot stills. It takes 20 pounds of pears to make one 750ml bottle of Pear Brandy. The pear nose is intense, the taste is strong, but pure, and the aftertaste is clean with a surprisingly strong taste of pear. It is lovely served chilled.
Double Gold medal winner at the San Francisco International Spirits Competition, 2013 and 2000 (the only years they entered).

This maceration is then re-distilled and re-infused with fresh new buds, giving the spirit its vibrant green hue from the Douglas fir’s natural chlorophyll. No artificial color has been added.
They distill their authentic, award-winning Sugarlands Shine with one foot firmly planted in the past and the other in these modern times.
