Bright Starts 3-in-1 Step ‘n Ride Lion Product Review
I received this product to review for my 1-year-old and it was a huge success, not only with him but his 2- and 3-year-old cousins, as well.
The design is simple and easy to assemble. Children out grow toys quickly so Bright Starts has a big win with this multi-age compact model. I’ve avoided most riding toys because they take up so much room, but this one works for limited space. I also appreciate the gender neutral design choices.
The conversion between stages is a very simple three-step process, and we’ve gone back and forth for play several times with no problems. Overall this step and ride lion is fun, interactive and helps to build different motor skills. I highly recommend this walking/riding toy to other moms and feel it is a great age-appropriate toy for a 1 year old.
The only small flaw in the design that I was bothered by is the small hatch that keeps the balls in the chute for storage. The plastic pin/hinge design isn’t sturdy or durable and came off in his hand while he was playing with it. It’s definitely not small enough to be a choking hazard but it doesn’t stay on well.
