My best safety tip for summer travel is to make sure the harness chest clip is at arm pit level! The 5 point harness is useless if it isn’t positioned properly.

Wow, I know this should be obvious but NEVER leave your child unattended in a car. Not even for a minute!
Make sure the car seats are installed properly. I have to admit I have driven with one of the car seats unbuckled. My husband took it out and forgot to put it back in correctly. I was furious!!!!! Lesson learned. I check the seats before buckling in the kids.
