Bamboo fibers offer a soft, cool next-to-skin feel, while Merino wool fibers on the face of the shirt provide warmth and prevent smell through high-output outdoor activities. The two fibers are then knit together to create a lightweight mid-layer material with the performance benefits of Merino wool and the soft feel of a synthetic but without the smell of all wool. The Bamboo-Merino Sport Henley is designed with a long torso (perfect for your tall guy or if he plans on using this as a base or mid-layer) and long sleeves with thumb loops (my husband wasn't sold on the thumb holes, but I think he is now; I a super fan of thumb holes personally). It's got a comfortable trim fit that won't ride up. Flatlock stiching and seamless underarm panel to prevent chafing, too. The Bamboo-Merino Sport Henley features underarm mesh panels and down the middle of the back for improved breathability. So many great features in one awesome shirt.
