Carolyn Coppola’s “Minivans, Meltdowns & Merlot” is hysterical. Brutally honest and funny in ways only a mom can truly appreciate, Coppola’s book is a realistic portrayal of what many moms goes through—but few are actually willing to admit. Kudos to Coppola, who reaches “way back” to describe situations all parents can relate to, regardless of the ages or number of children. (We also refer to the 3rd row in our vehicles as the “way back,” and I can appreciate the benefits and pitfalls of the “way back” that Coppola experiences and shares. Hilarious.)
I give this book two glasses up. As a mom to four kids, I can relate to Coppola’s experiences and trials as a mom–and many days do end in a glass of wine (or three). Cheers!
