I stopped into a little bistro in Pasadena today called Crème de la Crêpe Café. This little cafe has a delightful menu and wine bar (score). The beverage I ordered was a Wild Hibiscus Flower and Champagne Mimosa. The hibiscus, soaked in a raspberry syrup, was added to the bottom of the flute and topped with Champagne. It was beautiful. “Lovely” was the word I used to describe it to the bartender, who chuckled, bemused by my description.
I also ordered a Douce Crêpe Nutella, which was delicious and the perfect little afternoon snack. The presentation was wonderful. This bistro’s attention to detail and presentation is phenomenal. The customer service of the bartender/server that waited on me was spectacular.
