SHE-HULK EPISODE 1 EASTER EGGS
Updated Marvel Studios Logo
Ms. Marvel (Kamala) and Mighty Thor (Jane) have been added to the Marvel Studios Logo.
Responsibility of those with Power
Jennifer Walters talks about the responsibility of those with power as part of a closing argument she is rehearsing in her office. This common superhero trope we have heard many times, but maybe the most memorable is when Uncle Ben says it to Peter Parker; the original quote came from a narration box in the final panel of “Spider-Man!” in Amazing Fantasy #15.
UCLA Degree
Walters' UCLA degree and other UCLA items can be seen in her office.

Hulk Out
Walter's best friend and paralegal Nikki tells her if something goes wrong just to “Hulk out.”
Classic Comic Fourth Wall Breaks
We see the first fourth wall break as Jen tells the story of how she became a Hulk.
Avengers: Endgame
Bruce Banner tells Jen how his arm is finally healing after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
Steve Rogers
We get a nod to Steve Rogers, but more than that, we get a continued gag about Cap's lack of love life over the years. Jen talks to Bruce about her theory that Steve Rogers is a virgin. She learned a lot about him from Bruce and the History Channel.

Sakaaran Spaceship
In the MCU, we first see the Sakaaran spaceships in Thor Ragnarok. A Sakaaran Spaceship appears in front of the car Jen is driving and she crashes. During the wreck, both she and Bruce are injured and some of his blood gets into her wounds. She then transforms into a Hulk.
Ideal Sports Bar
After Jen wakes up in the woods, Jen goes into Ideal Sports Bar to find a way to contact Bruce to let him know she's okay.
FREE Comic QR Code
By the bathroom door on the Ladies Night sign, there is a QR code for a FREE She-Hulk comic.
If you've been watching Marvel shows on Disney+, you may recall when there was a link to visit a website to “Explore Madripoor” in “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” series, and “Moon Knight” offered FREE Comics throughout the entire series.
Ms. Marvel Grafitti
Inside the bathroom, there is graffiti on the wall, including the Ms. Marvel symbol and a spider.
Roxxon
Outside of Ideal Sports Bar, several men harass her. Before Jen changes to She-Hulk and is about to kick some butt, a Roxxon sign can be seen in the background. Bruce arrives as Smart Hulk to stop her before she teaches the harassers a lesson.
Led Zeppelin
Back at Bruce's house in Mexico, Jen wakes up and she puts on clothes Bruce left for her, including a Led Zeppelin t-shirt. Led Zeppelin's “The Immigrant Song” is featured in Thor: Ragnarok.
Iron Man
As Jen walks through the house looking for Bruce, she spots a smashed Iron Man helmet. Bruce spent the Blip integrating his Banner/Hulk personalities to create the Smart Hulk we see in
Avengers: Endgame. Tony built the Beach House lab 2 years previously for him, according to Bruce.
Sakaaran Class 8 Courier Craft
Bruce tells Jen he was able to confirm the ship they saw was a Sakaaran Class 8 Courier Craft
and he believes it was trying to deliver a message to him.

Gamma Exposure
Bruce studied Jen's DNA and tells her they have a similar ability to synthesize gamma, but not in the same way. Banner was able to fully heal his arm using her blood.

Pixar and Bing Bong
Bruce tells her she needs control when she transforms. Jen jokes he should put on a Pixar movie. She gets stressed when Bing Bong jumps out of the wagon in Inside Out.

Controlling her Hulk
Accurate to the comics, Jen is able to control her transformations into the Hulk. When Jen's Hulk comes out, Bruce is surprised she is still Jen.
Jen asks how Bruce was able to transform back to Banner from his Hulk form. He mentions 4 ways in 3 different movies.
- Falling out of a jet (Avengers)
- Knocked out by a robot (Avengers: Age of Ultron)
- “Sometimes Natasha would tell me a lullaby” (Avengers: Age of Ultron)
- Stuck as the other guy for over 2 years in space (Thor: Ragnarok)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Bruce uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help maintain being the Smart Hulk. DBT is a comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for borderline personality disorder (BPD).

Training Montage and Hulk move nods
Bruce teaches Jen to “Ground Pound” and “Throw Boulders.” This scene had a Shrek/Fiona feel to it.
Jen does a version of the “Thunderclap,” which was last seen in Incredible Hulk (2008).
Jen masters the classic superhero pose.
More Thor Ragnarok nods
Hulk's helmet from the Contest of Champions is on the wall in the bar.
A Hulk Mask from the planet of Sakaar is on the bar. The helmet can be seen in Thor Ragnarok when the people celebrate the Grandmaster's Champion in the streets.
The Bar
Bruce built the bar with Tony during the end of the Blip. Another Steve nod, and Bruce confides in Jen that Tony mostly drank and complained about Steve. The initials B.B. and T.S. are carved into the wood.
Jen carves her initials into the bar.
“Are you quoting a comic book right now?”
Bruce calls her Fuzzball.
(L-R): Jameela Jamil as Titania in Marvel Studios' She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, exclusively on Disney+. Photo courtesy of Marvel Studios. © 2022 MARVEL.
Titania
As Jen delivers her closing argument, Titania comes bursting through the courtroom wall. Jen transforms into She-Hulk in order to save the jury.
Titania: “Who the hell are you?”
Jen: “Jennifer Walters, Attorney at Law.”
In the comics, Titania is a rival of She-Hulk. Originally a supervillain, Titania has also been a member of the Masters of Evil (once led by Baron Zemo) as well as the Frightful Four. As of late, Titania's comic counterpart is more of an antihero.
Holden Holiway
Holden Holiway (played by Steve Coulter of “The Walking Dead” and “The Watchmen”) is a lawyer straight from the comics. First appearing in “She-Hulk” #1 (March, 2004), he's a named partner in the New York firm of GLK&H. In the comics, Holliway championed the formation of a “Superhuman Law” specialty practice within GLK&H for the sole purpose of being prepared for the inevitable charges against his granddaughter Sasha after she became a small-time super-criminal named Southpaw.
He later recruited Avenger Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, for the firm hoping that she could become a good role model for Sasha. Southpaw escaped with the help of the Mad Thinker Android's head after Titania's attack.
Dennis Bukowski
Dennis Bukowski (played by Drew Matthews of the “Vampire Diaries” and “Bluff City Law”) is another comic character nod. He was an assistant district attorney who first faced Jennifer Walters in court when he prosecuted Lou Monkton, who'd been framed by the crime boss Nicholas Trask. Though he always tried to Walters if given an opportunity, she'd prove to be his superior.
Brandon Hirsch
The defense attorney Jen goes up against in court is played by Brandon Hirsch, who stars in the comic series “Black Lightening.”
SHE-HULK EPISODE ONE POST-CREDIT SCENE
Back in Mexico at Bruce's bar, Jen continues to discuss Steve's virginity. She says “America’s Ass” did not deserve to die a virgin.
Bruce tells Jen that Steve Rogers lost his virginity to a girl during the 1943 USO tour.
Jen: “Yesssssss. Captain America F…!”
