We’re big fans of Adam Sandler in our house. This weekend we watched Netflix’s Hubie Halloween and were not disappointed.
Now, if you’re looking for a serious movie, this isn’t it. However, if you’re looking for your typical Happy Madison Productions/Adam Sandler movie with his normal goofy characters and the brood of former SNL castmates that you will often see—along with some other great actors—this is the film for you. I have fond college memories of drinking in a bar in Brockport after an Adam Sandler comedy performance decades ago.

In fact, my kids saw the trailer for Hubie Halloween, and each one wanted to watch it for a different popular actor. My 15-yea-old ask how much they spent on the cast because she isn’t wrong when she talked about how stacked the cast was!
