alex and ani bagMy new obsession is a fabulous little eco-friendly company called Alex and Ani. They make bangle bracelets, but not just any bangle bracelets. These are made entirely in the United State of recycled materials. Their motto: “Made In America With Love.”

alex and ani bracelets banglesI’ve seen these through the website, but Burlington, VT, recently got its own Alex and Ani store. I’m a silver girl and love having the option of silver or gold. So far, I’ve only bought 3 bracelets, but I’ll certainly be buying more. The bracelets are expandable and don’t use a clasp to secure to your wrist…a plus for a busy mom of 4…I never have to worry about losing a bracelet due to a broken clasp!

alex and ani bracelets banglesTwo other aspects of the company that speak to me: their eco-friendly mission and their charitable partners. The company’s mission is one of being a conscious and eco-friendly company and is based in New England (Rhode Island, to be exact). Alex and Ani partners with Charity by Design and donates 20% of the proceeds back to the corresponding charity for each Charity by Design Bangle sold. I love eco-friendly philanthropists!

Have you bought any Alex and Ani bracelets? Which designs are your favorite?

I love Alex and Ani and have had 4 but am down to 3 because my OM one broke 🙁 love them and will be re-buying it soon. I have the Boston in gold and the anchor (my favorite) in silver along with a beaded bangle that goes with everything. Love that we finally have one here in BTV 😉
